Have been looking at their site for awhile now, I was hesitant to order on line and several times loaded items into my shopping cart then changed my mind because I was worried about receiving a dead fish. Well, I decided to order 1 fish (Blue Powder Tang $79.00) it arrived DOA—-feel I got burned and confirms my concerns were legit—states to take pictures and submit a claim—3 days before they required to respond. Disappointed to say the least as I wanted the tang to be my signature fish—-should have know better I guess—-would have zero stars if that was available. Let’s see how they take care of this—skeptical to say the least

1st time customer and last time customer. Ordered 3 corals and 1 fish. Shipping was a day later than what was indicated during check out. Their site indicates they are operating out of Florida, but was shipped from California. Marine life arrived within 24 hours. Packaging was sub-par despite being charged $9 for packaging. Foam box with tube bags wrapped in paper with hand warmer placed on top? (Heat rises) marine life arrived dead except for fish. Submitted refund request, with photos, got run around and no refund because photo was not on white background. Consider my purchase a onetime donation,as I’m taking my business elsewhere. Update: After I posted the comments above, the company did reach out and issue a store credit to rectify the problem, so thank you for that! They also suggested that I pick up any future orders from them at FedEx to reduce any further stress during shipping, well I work during the day, so that’s impossible. May I suggest that your staff be informed, that when using a hand warmer to preserve ambient temp, that it be placed under the wrapped bags in the foam box, to provide a layer of protection from the lower ground temps, and provide stable ambient heat to the occupants above it.

I ordered a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse along with a 3 Frag coral pack on 11/12/2019. I couldn't be more disappointed with what I received. When I ordered the fish it was noted the size as up to 2.5 inches which is close to a full grown adult. The picture on the site also showed a male. The fish that was shipped was about a half an inch, possibly a female or juvenile male and almost dead because the amount of water in the small bag was laughable and quite cold. The coral that was sent was terrible quality frags of the same relative type and in one bag there was no water whatsoever! I tried contacting customer service multiple times with no answer on their phones and received a generic response of how to file a claim through email. Very disappointed in this company and will never order from them again!

Was very upset that all the fish we ordered arrived dead. We floated and acclimated the rest of the inverts and frag we also purchased and hoped for the best, but of the entire order, only a few crabs and a couple snails made it. This is an established tank, with multiple hard and soft corals as well as a vast variety of polyps and 2 anenome. We have received similar packages from other sources and have never experienced such a loss. I did fill out their online claim form and expect to receive a store credit for less than 2/3's of my loss. Being you must file a claim within hours of receiving the order, the coral frag, conch, and other cleaners, I assume, are a loss as well, as we all know it's impossible to know if the coral/frag will survive within the allotted time to file your claim. Very skeptical to purchase from this place again but will more than likely chose products I shouldn't have to be concerned about weather they live or not.

Bought a Duo. A goby and a pistol shrimp. Goby was DOA. I had it picked up 10 mins after I received the email that the package was at the fed ex pickup location. Opened it and the goby looked like it had been dead for awhile. I took pictures immediately. One with it in the bag. Timestamps embedded. I question whether they put a dead fish in the bag because this is such a shady company to deal with. They make it seem like there would be the possibilty of having it reshipped, but it's at their discretion. I wrongly assumed that the discretion clause that was put in the guarentee depended on whether it was my fault or theirs. I was wrong. Not going to happen. So instead, I was refunded less than $20, the duo was more than $40 itself, and to reorder the less than $20 fish from their site would now be a total over $60. If I wanted to buy just the goby, the base cost is more than my refund, since I bought a package deal. So, if I were to reorder from them, I'm out well over three times my original purchase simply from their either deliberate carelessness or shoddy shipping methods. They lost out on what could have been a great customer relationship. Lesson learned: Only buy local.

A bit disappointed with latest purchase. They put out great specials but when it’s time to ship “they Don’t pass inspection or they are out” ... Not trying to be super demanding but they should accommodate a customers wish list if they can’t come through on their end ..

BUYER BEWARE. If you purchase a sales "duo" (or any animal really) and one of the animals arrives DOA, this company will not send you a replacement, at their expense. Even though you paid for it and would reasonably expect that it will arrive alive, it is YOU, the customer, who will have to pay for shipping to get a replacement...even though you did nothing that caused or could have prevented the death. Apparently, this company's policy is that they will refund (credit) only the value of the animal. That tells me they don't value their customers. I would completely understand if it arrived alive and then died in my tank. But when they ship an animal that is dead before I even open the box, that is on them and should be replaced by them. Apparently their shipping methods suck!!! Lesson learned!

Never again. Just a waste of time. They sell fish they don't have in stock and don't say anything until the day of shipping. Requested refund since i had a DOA. I heard they give store credit, if so I will call my card company to report fraud. I understand fish can die, while angry, i can look past it, but to then try to reship me a smaller version of the fish i bought.... No no no. Never again terrible.
