Saltwaterfish.comReviews of saltwaterfish.com

Closer to 4.5 stars. Their prices are a little higher than I would normally pay so I have to take a star. Other sites have been an absolute hassle to work with and their packaging practices are garbage. Saltwaterfish has been on the mark and provide high quality marine life. So I guess that’s where my extra money is going. No complaints other than the price.

Healthy livestock and fast shipping

I wish I could have used affirm and I will see my fish on the 10th I hope they arrive safely.

Well I wanted to order a flame angel. so I did, next thing it kept adding an me extra flame angels. It did that twice, it added one extra then the second time it added two flame angels. Did not like that.

I've ordered for them multiple times because of the quality of their livestock and excellent packing/shipping. If my experience was based on the quality of their livestock, packing and shipping I would give them 5 stars. If I based only on their website and rewards program I would give them 1 or 2 stars. I seriously dislike their ads and website. For one their free shipping is never free. I consider packing part of shipping and there is always a packing charge. Why not be more honest, raise the spending level for free shipping and include packing. Also their is always an additional charge for overnight charge. Again, why not just raise the spending level for free shipping and make it free by including the overnight charge. I believe their rewards program is worthless. The amount of rewards per $ spent is insignificant and they restrict what you can spend it one. So, if you can't use, don't need or don't want one of the few rewards livestock or products then it is of no value. In these two areas of business their website is the worst of the ones I use.

this was the very first time ordering live fish from any place online. so far the package that the fish was in leaked but it was still alive. so I took out all the styrofoam and dumped the rest of the water in the container and then tilt the cooler at an angle, i was able to get it back to swimming after a couple of minutes using a technique i use when i go fishing to get the fish to swim away. then i dripped acclimated him for 2 hours. then got it in the qt tank where i am monitoring it for a month. and putting it through a qt process.

i was very happy with the fish i received. they arrived all well

I recently began using Saltwaterfish.com for my reef tank stock & needs. I’ve been able to use some discounts they offered plus free overnight shipping. There’s been a couple of specimens that didn’t make it, but I was given a credit for those. Anyone in this hobby knows that it can be somewhat of a gamble when you’re dealing w/live critters. Their packaging is excellent & shipping is of course, prompt. I’ll be using them again.
