Package arrived on time and was packaged well but was told it would contain something to keep livestock warm and there wasn't. Water was a little too cool. Fish is alive so far. Not sure if any of the 20 snails are. They haven't moved from spot I lowered them to. Will see tomorrow.

Ordered 2 saltwater fish. One came in dead the other was alive but very skinny, not sure the fish will make it. I've ordered a lot of fish online before and this was my first time with saltwaterfish.com. They put very little water in the bags as I'm sure this was to cut down on weight for shipping cost. They did refund my money for the dead fish without hesitation but not sure I will order from them again.

Shipment came quickly. 2 orders 10x Nassarius snails missing from order. Pending "chat" response from customer service. Urchin seems to be DOA, but went thru the 3 hr acclamation process anyway. Now it sits motionless on bottom of tank. Dead? I think so.

Have place several orders with the company. Last order I bought 2 Clown fish and some other things so that I would get free shipping. One of the Clown fish barely survived acclimation. Contacted the company right away, took a picture of the dead fish in a bowl and told them that I would like another fish of the same as I wanted a pair.They told me they only issue store credit and if I wanted another fish I would have to pay shipping and another $9.99 for their handling fee. Since I didn't pay shipping in the beginning this is completely unacceptable. I will do all the rest of my business with Live Aquaria. I have had much better luck with them and their free shipping is really free....no $9.99 handling fee...and their guarantee is much better. If something doesn't make it they send out a replacement without charging you a shipping fee. So now I am adding an edit to my review.I was contacted by customer support about my review. I was told that my credit was handled correctly and that is their policy. I still have an issue with this policy so I won't order from them again because things happen and not all fish survive so I don't want to end up in the same position of wanting another fish and having to pay $9.99 handling fee + a shipping fee. They did however take away my store credit and credited my original form of payment.

It’s an ok site but it can use some work. Everything seems easy to navigate to. The thing that wasn’t good were the pictures. Better photos and a cleaner layout will definitely draw more people to the website and buy. It’s not bad but it’s not good either.

Had an issue but it was resolved quickly and satisfactorily. I was a bit dissapointed with size of a few items but hopefully it will work out. It wasnt a bad experience, i have already placed another order, i look forward to a better review this time.

Called the number under the Contact us tab and spent almost 2 hours waiting to talk to someone about some help with the online coupon they offered. Finally something worked. The Three stars only for the phone service. Let's see what shows up in the mail....

I have ordered through them on and off for 5+ years and have had my share of problems with fish doa or dying later. Coral seems to do well though. I keep trying them every once in awhile hoping to have a better experience.
