Saltwaterfish.comReviews of saltwaterfish.com

Ok so please read this. I've ordered several times from here..Well I cant say that any of the recent times were good at all. First fish order and the expensive clown fish came with flared gills. Some of the crabs and things were dead due to no heat pack. So a credit was fiven for the dead ones, not the clowns. Order 2, more snails and such, came in and they were all the size of pencil tips. Customer service said that's normal..Umm in all my years of reef keeping I have never seen microscopic snails. Order 3, ordered large amount of snails, crabs etc.. More than half the crabs were dead, and super tiny. Expensive electric blue hermits, not electric blue at all..Brown. oh and did mention slightly larger than microscopic.. Messaged customer service and nothing. So photos are not of actual items, just be aware that even Petco has nicer healthier specimens. For as long as they have been around Satlwaterfish.com should be ashamed of themselves at this point.

Half the fish were dead the water was freezing coral looked ok I wish I could get some money back

Ordered 3 fish, yellow tang, panther grouper and maroon clown. Tang was DOA, but I missed the 5 hour time limit for refund and have to accept store credit. The grouper looked horrible and if in a fish store, would never have bought him. He died 1 week later in my quarantine tank. Store credit, does not include shipping???? And no replacement offered. Over $200 for a maroon clown and it will cost me about $30 in packaging and shipping for me to use my credit. Since when do you have to pay to use store credit?

I placed my order 9 days ago. I never received tracking information. I called customer service and was told they would call me back, but still haven't heard from them a day later.

During the Coronavirus Pandemic, Saltwaterfish up the price by more than 50% on the website. Now they are promoting Sale prices that were the same normal prices before the Coronavirus Pandemic. Capitalzing on comsumers. I will not and also encourage others to not buy form Saltwaterfish.com and to help the local shops stay open and local. after all Saltwaterfish.com wont be able to provide you with salt water for your saltwater changes. worst company online. buy form othesrs like liveaquaria or vivid aquariums. they keep the price of items the same.

Warning! Don't buy anything from them! Terrible customer service. Their water is infected with marine velvet. All your fish will die if you add any fish from them to your tank. Inverts are 10 times smaller than the picture. Of course they have a disclaimer about delivered items may be different than what you receive. It should say "will be extremely different and puny to what the advertise image shows." Notice no quantifying of small, medium, large. Don't do it they are out to take advantage.

I have had a 100% death rate with this company between fish I ordered. Some have died in the bag during shipping and others a day or two after being in a QT with NO treatment. WHEN YOU GET STORE CREDIT THEY EXPECT YOU TO BUY MORE FISH! they won't allow you to spend STORE CREDIT on supplies! What a waste of money.

If there was a way to give ZERO stars I would. I ordered 2 starfish and only one starfish survived after my shipment was received. One starfish died within a day of receiving. The water the feather dusters came in was a dark green they never opened up after acclimating to my tank. I also ordered 2 gobies both gobies died within a week. All of my other fish/inverts in my tanks are thriving so I feel as if I received a bad shipment from Saltwaterfish with no way to make it right as some of the fish I couldn't even get a picture of for the guarantee policy. I will not be wasting my money here again.
