I ordered a Potter's Angel from saltwaterfish.com. I received a nice example and he is a very active, happy, and healthy fish for a good month and a half now. However, I couldn't give this website more than 3 stars for 1 big reason. I have been ordering fish and reptiles online for the past decade and never have I ordered an animal that wasn't shipped to me with overnight *before 10:30am* delivery service. I live in a city, not rural and every other fish/reptile website has sent me the animal that way and I've always received it within that time. It is very cruel to send an animal and have it go through transport as long as it may take "before 8pm" on delivery day. Another thing that left me upset is that they advertised free delivery when I ordered, but saltwaterfish.com is the only website that tags along a "packaging fee" of $10. Give me a break. So, healthy fish, bad delivery, $10 fee, and I should mention I used their live chat option on their website a couple times and the customer service was nothing to rave about.

Saltwaterfish.com will not refund any money. My fish arrived dead. I took pictures of the fish as directed. The form does not download so that you can submit it as requested. I finally got in contact with Amanda about 6 hours after delivery and over the phone she let her know the form will not submit. In fact, my form did not have a submit button. The bottom line, I asked for a replacement fish or my money back. I do not want a credit because I will never give this company another dime. I ordered $180 in fish and one died the other has ICK. Buyer BEWARE. Edited I received a call from the company and they agreed to refund my money. I am updating my review from one to three stars only because it was unreasonable to go through this. But I will deal with a company that will honor their policy in good faith.

These guys are great and ship next day every time. I just had a bad experience with one purchase.

I bought a blue spotted jawfish and he didn’t live. They offer a guarantee if they die and I did everything they asked, took picture of the dead animal and uploaded on their website. They did Not give me full refund for the fish that died. I believe I deserve full credit for this fish bc he died within 3 days.

Website needs some work. Need to hire some computer techs to better update system. Have ordered before and they are good in follow through- just very frustrating to deal with website.
