I have ordered two orders both of which had items that did not pass inspection for shipping?? what does that tell you about the marine life they have for sale. I received an anemone that was very damaged and was given $59 store credit. So I put together another order thinking that $79 dollars is free shipping so I would only have to add $20 some odd dollars. No-store credit does not count for free shipping. So I decided to bite the bullet and order enough without my credit for free shipping. Except the items I chose again did not pass inspection? After I use my store credit I will never use this company again.

I can only speak for myself. This being the first time buying fish on line. And to be honest it will be the last. I like having the ability to look over the fish stock and choose one that is eating and in good shape. I like that the fish is not stressed out even more by not being feed and enclosed in a tiny bag. Sealed in your own poo and declining oxygen levels in a totally darkness. Sounds like torture to me. Well at this point all the fish that were purchased or gotten via store promo are dead. Lesson learned!

I have ordered online fish before, but this was my 1st time with saltwaterfish.com and I was quite disappointed. First, I requested that my fish remain at the FedEx store sice that was an option and somehow that communication broke down between my order and the company. Additionally, I purchased $300+ worth of live fish and 2 were dead by the time they reached my house. I understand live fish can die in transit but the bags upon arrival were extremely cold with 1 heater pouch. Its no way this 1 pouch is able to keep all my livestock warm enough to survive. Needless to say I'm very disappointed especially since they charge the customer for packing whereas other companies do not and pack more efficiently.

I feel it is not fair that you cannot use your store credit towards you're 15% discount promo. Store credit should not affect you're sub total price to qualify current Promo.

I phoned, on a Sunday. Was told I could leave a message if I pressed "0". No roo. To leave a message. Was on hold that time for over 12 minutes, when hung up on. I tried to order over the Internet, order didn't go through. Checked my messages and found one from you guys stating my order was not complete. Went back to my order and placed it. Thank you.

I left a previous review extolling the virtues of this site. Today, I received a phone call informing me that my order was too heavy and there would be a $20 shipping fee. This makes the order too expensive. Why was this fee not disclosed prior to my completing the order?? Not happy!

My main complaint would be that I had ordered a fish that was in stock at the time and went out of stock after my order. They did not inform me of this and I continued to wait while attempting to call them and expecting a delivery that wouldnt arrive. Finally I discovered the fish was out of stock over a week later after eventually contacting them. They seem incredibly understaffed for answering phones. As far as I'm concerned it was sold out from under me and I was pushed aside. 2 stars because the fish that actually survived getting lost in the mail were healthy.

Some the coral are smaller than shown or said.. For example when it says large it is meduim, it never the size they say . It's a smaller size.
