Over the past few months alone I have purchased a powered USB hub, a USB enclosure for M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs, a NVMe M.2 SSD to PCIe adapter, and a USB SATA hard drive docking station. Everything is working fine except the docking station. I pulled two working 1TB drives with plans to use the docking station to transfer data to another computer. Both of the NTFS boot sectors became corrupted. I had seen people had issues when reading the product reviews but not knowing them or conditions I figured "it's not going to happen to me" Now I am scrambling to try and recover years of data. DO NOT buy the docking station (USB 3.0 SATA Hard Drive Flat Docking Station)

The docking station works right out of the box. I recycle a hard drive from my 15 years old PC, insert it in Sabrent docking station, connect docking station into my current PC and voila I have now additional storage space. I can now safely donate my old computer w/o hard drive to a recycling organization.

There are a lot of CFB readers out there that claim fast transfer, this is the closest to advertised rate. Varies between 25 - 35 Mb per second, but there are so many other variabkes that I’m satisfied in picking this one. Solidly built, excellent quality, time will tell how it lasts.

Bought a SATA docking station for an old WD 1TB 3.5" hard drive. The drive case fit perfectly in the dock but the HD connector did not want to mate with the dock until I put significant pressure in line with the drive toward the connector. I was expecting an easy fit. It would be helpful to know beforehand of a snap fit so I could be sure I was not breaking it. Drive worked great once installed.

Recovery, Recovery!! Gave my old computer to grandson who redid it for his needs - then I remembered I hadn't removed all the data that I needed - I know - dumb! But he still had the hard drive sitting on his shelf and with the dock I was able to find everything! Now I have a way to back up my current files without worrying about THE CLOUD!

Love this product that I bought from Sabrent. It was a case for an SSD and it worked great and was not expensive. I would recommend doing business with this company as the product I bought from them performed exactly as they advertised and the price was great.
