Wrong PSU included for the UK.
I've been a purchaser of Sabrent's hardware for some years now, so after purchasing a USB SATA HD Flat docking station (EC-DFFN) from Amazon UK - which was actually sent from the Betty Store Co in New Jersey - I contacted Sabrent's Customer Service (in the US) as, unsurprisingly, since the device was obviously intended for the US, it arrived with only a US-style 'twist-on' 2-pin Plug-top PSU. I was actually seeking the supply of the alternative '3-pin, BS1363 UK 'twist-on' adaptor to make it work here in the UK. Customer Service responded that they were unable to assist "as they don't have control over items or accessories included in shipments fulfilled by Amazon" and that "due to limited availability" they were "unable to provide power adapters separately" and ending with the suggestion that I initiate a return through the Order & Returns page on Amazon.co.uk. Not exactly a 'helpful' response to this customer! A few moments spent on Amazon's UK website revealed a suitable fixed 3-pin UK PSU supply (for ~£9) which was duly ordered (arriving some 48 hrs later). I cannot help but feel that Sabrent really don't care that their reputation can be so easily 'destroyed' over a relatively simple matter like this! They could perhaps have requested Amazon UK to initiate the supply of a suitable alternative PSU for their device - even if I had to pay for it! A cheap $2 twist-on adaptor from the original Chinese manufacturer could so easily have been sourced and sent directly from China - but I guess such a simple logical solution was not available to their Customer Service. I doubt I'll be buying any more Sabrent hardware if that's their attitude.
