Having already used Ryan LLC to lower our business rates (unsuccessfully I might add), they then approached me to see if they could lower my rent whan it came for rent review (not for another year). I signed the contract, assuming I had plenty of time to change my mind. However, a couple of months later (and before Ryan LLC had informed me of any work done at all), my landord made an offer that was better than anything that Ryan could improve upon (rent freeze), so I emailed Ryan to cancel the appointment. I heard nothing for four months and then an email out of the blue requesting payment for services carried out only a month after the contract was signed as an 'Abortive Fee'. Had they told me this at the time of termination, I might have kept them on in the knowledge that I wouldn't be paying them unless they somehow managed to REDUCE my rent (unlikely!). So thet did 6 hours of work at £250 per hoour within a couple of weeks of the contract being signed, but took fouor months to let me know about the Abortive Fee? Pretty dodgy practice if you ask me. Needless to say, have removed them as an agent from the Government Gateway and will not be using them again for anything

rep of this company sent me a general sales pitch phishing email about the rateable value of my property. I did not reply. He asked again if i had any thoughts, i said none. His reply was to quote an unrelated report from the BBC regarding diabolical nursery funding rates paid by the Government. He explicitly accused me that "this implies (by not doing business with his arrogant, ego-centric, unprofessional ****) that you don't agree with the rising costs you pass on to clients and yet you also don't want to do anything about". The newsreport was not about parents it was about price-fixing childcare. Well mr rep, my middle name is Karen and I do! Whilst exposing your terrible lack of professionalism, I'd like to point out that due to a sizeable extension re-rating our value would add costs to our clients! In summary it turns out i know more than you do about my rising costs and controlling them. I kept the receipts!

BUSINESS RATES SCAMMING COMPANY, AVOID AT ALL COSTS, THEY ARE SENDING OUT INVOICES SCAMMING UK BUSINESSES ON BUSINESS RATE APPEAL SCAMS.

Horrible experience so far. Overcharging for findings they haven't done. Trying to charge us more than the actual savings.

Currently undergoing a review of their invoicing as their invoices to us came to more than the actual rates savings ! Still chasing me for paying the original invoices and now adding interest, communication awful! I wouldnt use again

Do not sign a contract with this company without throughly reading the terms and conditions. The can do no work at all and hit you with an invoice for termination for no reason. We were not contacted by anyone at the company until we decided to make a change which is when they had found savings for us but trying to ask for a report on this was impossible and then suddenly out of the blue received the invoice. They literally did no work and when questions were asked they kept reverting to the contract that was signed HOWEVER did not up hold their end but threaten legal action if invoice not paid. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I am writing this review to express my profound dissatisfaction with Ryan’s recent service regarding their business rates relief service. My experience began when Ryan bought out the company we initially instructed, Altus Group, to review and reduce our Business rates. We were informed that Ryan would be taking over the account, and Asif, as Senior Collections Executive, subsequently got in contact. However, the reality was far from what was assured. Firstly, Asif sent me an invoice for so-called Business rates savings for the current tax year, despite my prior notification that we would be leaving our premises to move to a larger building during this tax year. This meant we would not get the full deduction and therefore wouldn't be entitled to pay the full amount being requested. Following this, after I sent an email explaining that we had notified Ealing Council and would ask for a final bill to correctly calculate the commission for the business rates deduction as per our agreement with the previous company, Altus Group, I received another email from Asif requesting payment. Not only are we in our busiest period of the year, but it also takes time for Ealing Council to get back to us. After this communication, and as I wasn't able to respond for over a week, we received a default notice and a threat to take further action. The lack of understanding, willingness to collaborate, and basic business foresight from Ryan was truly astonishing. What is very strange to me is that even after notifying them that we are moving our business to a much larger premises, they have not even considered to work with us on resolving the current issue. They have not even requested information for our new building to offer their services. We are about to sign an agreement for 5 years, and the type of rates saving and commission they could possibly earn from our new, larger premises would more than cover the £500 they are currently claiming from us. The direct impact of this incorrect action has been significant stress and inconvenience during our busiest period, dealing with an incorrect invoice and aggressive collection tactics, and the complete loss of a potential 5-year business relationship for Ryan. It's baffling how some companies do business. I guess corporates live in their own world. For me, I would have gotten to know my new client, found a solution, and a way to continue working with them to secure another 5 years of business. Ryan will certainly not be getting the opportunity to get our business.

Never working with them again, firstly they massively overcharged me. When I questioned this they said I was wrong and that no refund should be offered. Then after many calls and emails they finally admitted their wrong doing but refused to let me know when I would get the refund. Finally after even more calls and emails I got the refund. The people I have dealt with have been rude and dismissive. Then to top it all off they have just sent me another invoice for work done in 2025. They have done 0 work for me in 2025 but still claiming they get 50% of the retail relief even though they haven’t lifted a finger.
