Suspicious Request for ID
Attempted to purchase approximately $600 worth of 3m 1080. They requested a scan of the front and back of both my credit card and photo ID due to the 'large dollar amount' (what?). Instead of providing me with an internal policy regarding what would happen to this data once it was used to verify my identity they decided it was easier to cancel the order. Maybe it's because I've had my fingerprints stolen in the 2015 OPM hack, but I'm a little suspicious of why RVinyl needs a 'scan' since if I was impersonating myself, I'd probably have those documents handy too.
