Product looked great after I applied it to my driveway, but after 6 months. Not so much. It has peeled and faded in some areas. I did inform Rust-Oleum of this but was told that it is normal for that to happen. I would not recommend this product.

Vi har nu forsøgt med både "bland selv"-glitter og reel glittermaling. "Bland selv" glitter kan overhovedet ikke ses, selve flagerne er bare dækket af maling og væggen glimter absolut ikke - og ja vi har overholdt blandingsforholdet. Glittermalingen (Rosa Super Shimmer) er det værste møjprodukt. Absolut elendig dækkeevne og mængdeangivelsen er fuldstændig skæv. Hvis man skal male en væg på 7m2 skal man bruge mindst en liter pr lag (koster 599 kr. for 750 ml - you do the math) Selve produktet er desuden tyndt og sjappet og har underlige mælkehvide søer af lak-lignede substans, uanset hvor meget man forsøger at rører og blande - kort sagt virker produktet skilt. KØB IKKE DETTE MØJ - så meget er en glimmervæg simpelthen ikke værd!

It takes a lot for me to write a negative review but, for RustOleum, I am willing to make an exception. Brought Rustoleum to paint the kitchen bench tops following a recommendation from Bunnings staff. A terrible mistake. The product is a disaster! Followed the instructions to a T and even left the benches for an additional week to dry before using but to no avail. In addition, I even put placemats under all the appliances to protect the surface but that was also a waste of time. The painted surface scratches at the slightest touch and is still tacky to the touch after more than 6 months. Everything now sticks to to the bench and if I put down a bag with a label on it, the actual label will stick to the bench top and needs to be soaked off to remove. I Contacted company and was sent out a replacement batch to redo, however, decided enough was enough and took product back to Bunnings to get a refund. Three weeks of inconvenience and work for nothing. In addition, I now have to replace the bench tops due to the negative effect the paint has had on them. Put simply - Do not buy this product!

Just junk would not use on nothing they should be sued for wasting time and selling crap.

THE PROTECTIVE LACQUER NOT ONLY DRYED PATCHY IT BECAME TACKY WHEN CONTACT WITH FLUID IT HAS RUBBED OFF IN SOME AREAS. ABSORBING MY BEAUTY PRODUCTS INITO IT AND DISSOLVING LEAVING RINGS. THE REPORT THEY WROTE FOR THE OMBUDSMAN WAS FLAWED. THEY LIED AND CAN BE SEEN DOING SO. THEY DID NOT MEASURE THE AREAS I COVERED BUT PLUCKED A FIGURE OUT OF THE AIR, THEY LIED SAYING I HAD 2 DOUBLE WARDROBES ANY IMAGES WOULD HAVE SHOWN I DIDNT HAVE 2 DOUBLE WARDROBES. THEY DID NOT TAKE ANY IMAGES FOR THE REPORT THEY MADE. THEY DID NOT MEASURE THE SURFACE AREAS I COVERED. I PROVIDED IMAGES WITH A METAL RULER TO PROVE MY METERAGE WAS LESS THAN WHAT THE CAN COVERS BEING 14 SQUARED METERS. I USED 2 COATS. THEY ACKNOWLEDGED THIS ON PAGE 1 OF THE REPORT. ON PAGE 3, THEY STATED I USED THREE COATS. THEY ALSO SAID I HAD PRODUCT LEFTOVER WHICH I DID, THEY STATE I HAD MORE THAN 14 SQUARE METERS WHICH IS WHAT THE CAN COVERS. THE PRODUCT DOESNT DRY MAT LIKE IT SAYS IT DOES, IT HAS A SOFT SHEEN TO IT IT BECOMES TACKY ON CONTACT WITH FLUID. PLEASE RESPOND I WANT TO TAKE ACTION AS I HAVE SEEN SO MANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ONLINE THEY NEED TO BE ACCOUNTABLE, IT NEEDS TO STOP. PLEASE REPORT THEM TO ONLINE TO GOV . UK

I painted some bedroom furniture with chalk paint and clear lacquer. Within days the furniture was peeling and damaged even though I followed all instructions perfectly (if not more than necessary as I sanded the items and this wasn't necessary). Also painted furniture handles and the paint didn't dry. And an outdoor wooden table and the paint again peeled within a couple of weeks. Rustoleum provided a small amount of compensation as a "gesture of good will" however I made it clear this was not in response to my solid oak bedroom furniture as if this was also damaged I would need to discuss further compensation. Low and behold the bedroom furniture was also damaged so I contacted Rustoleum again to be told they are REFUSING to do anything further. They blamed how I had used the products. My family member used the same chalk paint on her bedroom furniture and had exactly the same issues. She stripped it and painted it with a different brand and shock horror....it's perfect! Best part is Rustoleum COPIED AND PASTED their replies to myself and my family member so clearly did not personalise responses to us or address our individual problems. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS THEY HAVE CAUSED ME OVER £800 WORTH OF DAMAGE NOT INCLUDING THE £200 I SPENT ON THEIR PRODUCTS!!

I spent a great deal of the summer preparing rot iron railings to paint. I thought painting would be the easy part. I just completed applying the fourth coat of Rust-Oleum 7792504 Protective Enamel Paint Stops Rust, 32-Ounce, Gloss White. The coverage is terrible. The primer is still visible. It easily runs when you apply too much and doesn’t cover when you apply multiple thin coats. I initially used the spray cans and they do an excellent job, but they are cost prohibitive for large jobs. I followed all directions and used a foam roller. I hope you have better luck.
