Rust-OleumReviews of rustoleum.com

I don’t know about the paint yet. I ordered samples a while ago. It took about 5 days to get it.Regardless I placed an order today. The order confirmation email arrived today , at 10.20 Friday morning. I got a fedex notification that the next day delivery will be on Monday. Not good. Do not say next day delivery if it’s not. Thanks.

I should have read the reviews about FedEx delivery before ordering. I would never have ordered if I knew they were the delivery partner. My order was due for delivery at 1:20pm - surprise surprise it hasn’t arrived so I’ll have to go to B&Q tomorrow morning, purchase from another brand, and will refuse delivery when it does arrive so i can get a refund. Absolutely useless! Don’t bother ordering if you want next day - it won’t arrive.

I purchased a can of the Rustoleum 'ALL-SURFACE PAINT & PRIMER IN ONE' from our local DIY store (not cheap at £16) to paint a couple of small metal shelves and followed the instructions to the letter, shaking the can for 5 minutes to ensure it was fully mixed. The resultant spray came out thick and uneven and it was impossible to get a uniform finish. I cleaned the nozzle after use (exactly as directed) then on the second spraying attempt, the paint came out in a 'ribbon', then thick and 'blobby' and ultimately the can stopped spraying even though the nozzle was clear. I ended up having to re sand the shelves and buy some traditional ( cheaper) spray paint with the 'standard' nozzles which gave a perfect finish first time. I've never ever had this issue with any other spray paints and so would defintiley not recommend this product.

The spray can poured like a faucet!!! Thank God that I masked and parted everything!!! I think that this can was made on a Monday or a Friday because it was GARBAGE. Love the paint Hate the delivery! Rust-oleum, YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS! DO BETTER!!! Sincerely WTF?

Using kitchen tile paint: I sugar soaped the kitchen tiles in prep and in a very short time after application, the paint bubbled or flaked off, leaving a complete mess of tiny bits that got everywhere and were a nightmare to remove. Even harder was removing the paint from each tile, some still adhering though messy from where there were gaps from the paint peeling off. I had to use a Stanley knife blade by hand to scrape the darn stuff off. Never again.

I wished I’d read the reviews before placing my order. I’m now 8 days on from the promised next day delivery. No sign of the order and now two weekends gone that I’d planned to get the work done. Not entirely sure how they’re in business - but I guess they’re making enough from people who also assume they’re a reputable company

You advertised next day delivery for orders placed by a certain time ! My fedex delivery was supposed to arrive by 6pm today . Its now 6 30 pm I have not walked the dogs , been in the garden or left the house at all waiting on this delivery ! I have my projects I was urgently needing paint for . I have had no delivery updates whatsoever . Why use Fedex when they are clearly completely unreliable . You have my order , my money and I do not have my tins of paint ! . You have lost me as a customer I will never buy your products again . I will be ringing tomorrow ( if that service exists ) for a refund .
