Used your company for a medical document translation.
Am greatly concerned the translated document was returned to me unsecured. How do you ensure Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) compliance?
Response from RushTranslateAug 18, 2026
We understand your concern and would like to clarify that your document was not sent as an unsecured email attachment or made publicly available for download. Completed files are delivered through a unique order link over HTTPS, using time-limited signed AWS download URLs. Files are encrypted both at rest and in transit. RushTranslate does not advertise or represent its services as HIPAA compliant, nor did we make that representation when you placed your order. We nevertheless follow established security practices for handling sensitive documents.
If this information changes your understanding of how the document was delivered, we would appreciate you updating your review. You can learn more on our Security Policy page: https://rushtranslate.com/security.

I don't know where all these positive…
I don't know where all these positive reviews are coming from - maybe they're inflated by bots. This company is just another scam. I spoke with a woman from customer support named Sofia Lara (not sure this is the real name). I sent her the material for translation. It was three pages long, and I received a reply saying they would do the translation for $59.88, but as soon as it came time to pay, the price jumped to $99.80 for the exact same amount of work! I tried for a long time to figure out from Sofia Lara what the reason was, but she’s either pretending to be incompetent or actually is. I strongly advise against contacting them - it’s a scam company that just wastes your time and tries to rip you off!
Update:
The "professional managers from RushTranslate" contacted me by email and confirmed that they had been skipping school and that they don’t know how to do math. The thing is, for a preliminary estimate, I sent the diploma’s title page and the diploma supplement combined into a single PDF file for convenience. For security reasons, I blacked out my first name, last name, and diploma number. They counted 715 billable words in 3 pages and quoted a price of $59.88. This was slightly cheaper than other translation agencies, so I agreed. Next, they provided me with a link to upload the documents with my first name, last name, and other details visible. I sent the originals, but for convenience, I split the diploma’s title page (1 page) and its appendix (2 pages) into separate PDF files. It still came to the same 3 pages! 1+2 = 3! Everyone knows this. But for RushTranslate, this is already a reason to claim that the number of documents has increased, the scope of work has grown by 105 words (remember, there were previously 715 billable words), so this is a reasonable justification to double the price to $99.80 when it came time to pay.
And now they’re trying to convince me that this is appropriate behavior, that it’s all within the bounds of professionalism.
It’s ridiculous to even hear this! In other words, if you send 3 pages for translation in a single file, that’s one price; if you split those pages into different files, it’s a different price - twice as much 😂
Admit your mistake, apologize, and then offer to work together - don't keep making the situation worse by lying, if you want to keep your customers!
It’s ridiculous to even hear this!

Thank you for the detailed feedback. We take pricing transparency seriously, and after reviewing your case closely, we can see how the difference between your two quotes came across as unclear. In short, your first quote was based on a version of your source materials with some text redacted, while your second quote reflected the complete, unredacted source materials, which increased the billable word count and price. That's a distinction we should have explained more clearly up front.
To be clear, our reviews come from real customers, not bots. RushTranslate is an industry leader in certified translations, trusted by hundreds of thousands of clients since 2015. We attempt to match every review to a real client on our system, and when we can, we mark it as "verified." Even when we can't make that match, reviews are still posted, whether positive or negative. In this case, it took us a bit of extra digging since the name on this review was "Andrew," while the client profile tied to this order was under "Andrei," but once we located the record, we were able to review the full history and respond directly. As for our support agent, Sofia, she was working in good faith from the information in the quote.
We've reached out to you directly by email with a full explanation of what happened and a proposed resolution. We'd welcome the chance to sort this out with you to find an acceptable resolution.

E-Apostille is a misleading business practice
The e-apostille is not what most would think it to be. It does NOT apostille your document, it certifies the translation with an apostille. Most foreign governments will NOT take this.
The site just reads:
"Additionally, we offer an apostille service for notarizations that need to be recognized internationally by member countries of the Hague Convention for an additional $79.95 per order."
This is inherently false, as the apostille service would be for the source document, never for the translation. This has caused me to waste 4 months of processing time, and hundreds of dollars.
I cannot state how misled and hurtful this engagement with your services is. Truly a terrible business practice.

We'd like to address several claims in this review that are incorrect or misleading, since they affect anyone reading this who is deciding whether to add this service.
First, an apostille on a notarized translation is a distinct requirement from an apostille on a source document, and both are legitimate depending on what the receiving institution asks for. Many foreign government agencies require the notarization on the translation itself (the Certificate of Translation Accuracy) to be apostilled, separate from any apostille on the original document. We've processed this exact service for thousands of customers whose foreign recipients specifically required it, and it's a standard part of cross-border document submission, not a fabricated add-on. Notaries Public are typically only recognized in-country, so when a notarization is presented in a foreign country, the apostille authenticates the Notary Public who performed it.
Secondly, to be clear about scope: RushTranslate's e-Apostille service applies only to the notarization we perform on the translation, and this is how it's described in checkout and in our help center. We do not offer, sell, or imply an apostille service for source documents (a birth certificate, passport, etc.). A source document can only be apostilled by the same authority that issued it, for example the Secretary of State of the issuing state for state-issued records, or the U.S. Department of State for federally issued records like an FBI background check. That process is entirely separate from anything we provide.
What matters most in any individual case is confirming with the receiving institution exactly which document (source, notarized translation, or both) needs the apostille, since requirements vary by country and by agency. If the receiving institution required an apostille on the original document rather than the notarized translation, that is a difference in what was needed versus what was ordered, not a misrepresentation of the service.
Please reach out to [email protected] with any questions and we would be happy to assist.

Do not use RushTranslate
I used this service to translate documents into Lithuanian. Despite the significant cost, all of the documents were rejected by the Lithuanian Consulate. Avoid this service.
Response from RushTranslateJun 8, 2026
We're sorry to hear the documents were not accepted, and we take quality seriously. That said, we want to be transparent: we have no record of any communication from you - before, during, or after your orders (placed in May and August 2025) - regarding the Lithuanian Consulate's specific requirements. We publish a full list of guaranteed end users at rushtranslate.com/guarantee, and for end users not on that list, we ask customers to share their requirements in advance so we can confirm compatibility. Without that information, we cannot be held responsible for a rejection we had no opportunity to prevent. We'd still welcome the chance to review what happened. Please reach out to our support team and we'll do our best to help.

There is no phone support which I find…
There is no phone support which I find highly irritating. I would rather use a service where i can speak to someone if I have to. I guess I'll just use another service..there are other services out there that do a great job.
Response from RushTranslateMay 18, 2026
Hi Shlomo, thanks for the feedback. We don't offer phone support by design. As a document translation platform serving customers across dozens of languages, written communication is simply more effective and accurate for everyone involved. Our support team is available 7 days a week, 20 hours a day via email and responds quickly. We have no record of any interaction with you, so if you do have a translation need, we'd be happy to help. We hope you'll give us a try before forming an opinion.

They use chatgpt
They use an ATA style notarized translation format, which is not accepted by Canadian authorities, and their translation work plus everything is chatgpt

Response from RushTranslateMay 15, 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience. We take all feedback seriously, but we're unable to locate any order associated with your name in our system. We've reached out through Trustpilot's verification process to request additional information so we can investigate further but we haven't yet received a response.
To clarify a few points: RushTranslate does not use AI tools such as ChatGPT in our translation process. Our translations are completed by qualified human translators. Additionally, all of our certified translations come with a guarantee of acceptance by IRCC and Canadian immigration authorities. If a translation is ever rejected, we re-translate and/or issue a full refund.
If you did use our services, we genuinely want to make this right. Please contact us directly at [email protected] with your order number so we can assist you promptly.

Disappointing experience and avoidable mistakes
I'm not satisfied with the service provided by RushTranslate. During the quote process, they count all the words in the document, including the text within revenue stamps. However, in the final translation, those same stamps are not translated, even though they are clearly part of the official document.
Additionally, I found an error in a record number. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this is exactly why a final quality check is essential before delivering the document. If I was able to notice it, they should have caught it as well.
Overall, the experience was disappointing due to the inconsistency and lack of attention to detail.
Response from RushTranslateApr 15, 2026
Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we were unable to identify your order based on the information provided. We have requested additional details so we can investigate this matter further and provide appropriate assistance. We look forward to resolving your concerns as soon as possible.

Bad service
Bad service I've ever seen.
Response from RushTranslateJan 7, 2026
I'm sorry we couldn't complete your order and had to issue a refund instead, but the document you uploaded contained an Arabic dialect that we don't support.
I saw in your support email that you were able to find someone local to perform the translation, so I'm glad hear you were able to get the translation completed.
