Massively overpriced, poorly sized, ill fitting and very cheap quality. Ordered boots and socks (for the dog, obviously, not myself), measured as per their instructions and video (as an engineer I'm pretty good with measurements), when they turned up boots were waaay to big, like clown shoes. The socks on the other hand (which were £20!) were ridiculously small. Applied for a refund on the grounds of above. I had to pay for shipping , and had to contact them to chase it up. Received a refund acknowledgement but didn't receive a refund. So I emailed them AGAIN, no response but a refund eventually came through. Took almost two weeks to get my money back. Whilst waiting for the refund a local store popped up in a google search that stocked RUFFWEAR. After seeing in person the rest of their gear I would NEVER buy anything from them, cooling jackets at almost £100 but with the worst build quality and cheapest components. This is very much a case of paying for branding (an opinion), I could not and would not recommend Ruffwear in any capacity.

I bought a frontine lead, the swivel snapped clean off when my dog pulled the first time, I didn't think it possible, never had one snap before, wear out yes, but never one snap on the first time out. Sent several emails with pics to their ''customer service'' asking how could this happen, it's not a cheap lead. Absolutely no response from them.

Absolutely would not recommend. Refund is non existent even though their website states you can return products within 30 days! The truth is that they ask you to contact their customer service and when you do so no one responds - you chase and chase and still no response !!! I think the next step would be to report this fraudulent company to the ombudsman!

Just bought a Ruffwear Dog Collar…it’s absolutely garbage. Cheap materials have used, yet it was over £30. It will be sent back immediately. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY. Complete waste of time.

Terrible customer service. I had a faulty product and contacted them with full information and photos. When spending almost £50 on a dog lead you expect it to be good quality. Took ages to respond and when they did it was a copy & paste fob off email. This company has veered so far away from its ethos and origins it’s sad to see it’s turned into just another corporate fat cat with zero interest in quality control and customer service.

ordered boots for a long trek based on reviews - uk purchase. one pair needs e hanging and I was surprised with the customer service I received - i contacted ruff wear via their web form and got zero response. i called twice and there was nobody to answer the phones as i got the message saying the offices are closed even though it was after 9 am. I called again and was told a reference nupmber and address. i asked them to explain an exchange process as i need to exchange. nothing was explained - Instead I was told to return the boots at my cost and then order new ones again and pay postage again!! With he the prices I am paying I would expect the customer service people to be available at the hours they say they are and to be able to exchange product easily without ruffwear making even more money by me paying postage three times in effect - one on original order, one for return, one for reorder since they do not do exchanges. extremely disappointed

Got the Ruffwear dog harness and it's not cheap. It looks well put together but it's got a fault on the top with the metal tag being connected via a piece of material that wears away very quickly. So I thought give them a chance and spent another £40.00 on a replacement and surprise surprise it went the same way. So £80.00 down I have since found a lot of pictures of this defect and Ruffwear are still selling this product.

Bought (an expensive) front range harness for our whippet and it rubbed her under the armpits so bad it broke the skin and made her extremely sore. The harness is made from very "ruff" material and not suitable for those with sensitive skin (such as whippets). The company expressed concern but didn't want to do anything about it. We do NOT recommend this product
