Staff was friendly. I was disappointed that my hand knotted Persian rug came back with ink bleed stains. When I called to ask if they could fix it, they just said that happens sometimes and they couldn't do anything. They did give me a name of another company that might be able to repair it. The damage looks like it was rolled up while still damp in some areas, and that's where it bled. Very disappointed as it is a $5,000+ rug and we took it to Rudy's specifically because we trusted them to know how to handle it.

Dye migration can unfortunately occur with certain rugs due to unstable or natural dyes, even when every precaution is taken. It’s one of the inherent risks we outline on every invoice before we begin any work. We’re glad we were able to connect you with a textile specialist and we hope that’s been helpful. The new owner is terrific, and the fact that she hired one of the previous owner's family members to work with her is perfect. I've always enjoyed the people with Rudy's, so it is nice to know that experience with continue. Oh, and they did a very nice job on my rug. :-)
