Hi Karen, We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with the results of your rug cleaning. We reviewed your order with our team and confirmed that your rug went through our cleaning process. Unfortunately, your rug had significant matting in its thick, high-pile fibers. This type of matting can be permanent and cannot always be reversed through cleaning. Additionally, tightly matted fibers can trap dirt and debris deep within the rug, making complete removal difficult even with thorough dusting and washing. We strive to set clear, realistic expectations for every rug before cleaning, including discussing any existing conditions that may limit the results. While we always aim to achieve the best possible outcome, certain types of wear and matting cannot be corrected through cleaning alone. Dye migration can unfortunately occur with certain rugs due to unstable or natural dyes, even when every precaution is taken.
