RTA Wood CabinetsReviews of rtawoodcabinets.com

The assembly instructions are awful and vague. I was sent instructional videos to watch which were not helpful to the assembly of my custom cabinets either. I had quality issues as well so I had to reach out for replacement cabinets. Luckily customer support was great and I was able to get replacement cabinets. I just sent pictures of the issues and gave a detailed description of what was wrong. Surprisingly the drawers are very well made and solid, more so than the cabinet doors. These are not top quality cabinets, but I feel for the price and customer service they are a fair deal. Overall, these are middle of the road cabinets for a decent price.

I ordered a sample door which came very fast indeed (3 days, even during COVID times!) But the quality of the product was not what I expected. I could see non-stained wood in the corners, likely due to shifting of the inner panel. There were also prominent sanding marks on a couple of spots. Overall the quality was not what I expected. I waited for a promotion at Home Depot and was able to get a higher quality cabinet for the same cost. The cabinets I was looking into were the -reassembled ones, not the RTA.

Was charged $200 shipping because it said it had to be dropped shipped and it came UPS,I don’t believe UPS charged $200 to deliver 1 box that the driver picked up and carried to my porch.

great idea but very poor quality control. these are very good cabinets but they came with a lot of production issues. broken dado's, miss aligned dovetails, split wood, broken draw slides the salesman was great and replaced part immedialtely, although if they had a quality control department/person this wouldn't have been an issue

The quality of the is excellent. They arrived undamaged. The initial customer service was great. However, I’m waiting for a front piece months later, and not getting updates any longer—and I email regularly asking. It won’t look very good if I have one piece missing or not matching.

We ordered the Essex styles in white and gray. Shipping was pretty quick, and all cabinets arrived well packaged and no damage, make sure you order all items at one time to get the free shipping as the cost to ship one cabinet is pretty expensive. This was my fault though. The cabinets are solid and made well, out of 17 cabinets only one where the pre drilled screw locations did not line up correctly. We had one cabinet where the finish was not very good on the inside of the door. We also had two shelves that had painted finger prints on them luckily none of the quality issues can been seen. The directions for putting together the odd cabinets, corner cabinets, spice cabinets needed to be better, but again the quality of the cabinets is good. The only issue we had is the 30" wine rack does not actually hold most wine glasses so you are better off not wasting the money on this item and buying something elsewhere.

Several items were damages and packed poorly

We purchased the Luxor white cabinets for our kitchen remodel. When they arrived half of the cabinets we ordered were completely broken. We let the company know right away. Phil provided excellent customer service and shipped out replacement cabinets for us right away. So 5 stars for customer service. As we put our cabinets together however we were very disappointed with the quality of the cabinets themselves. We ended up having to undo and redrill many of the metal clips since they didn’t line up right. We also had screws randomly break. And some of the cabinets were not square from warping. Now that they’re all assembled and installed the cabinets look good. But I definitely would not purchase again or recommend the Luxor cabinets.
