I like R.S. Hughes, but not so much last order. Because what I wanted wasn't at the local warehouse, my CC was charged $23 shipping for 2 tubes of glue. I could have easily bought it somewhere else had I known

Hello Chuck, We apologize that you were not made aware of the shipping cost. We will share this feedback with our team. If you have any additional concerns please feel free to reach out. Thank you, R.S. Hughes

Gracias R.S. Hughes

Love your selection, love your prices, speed of delivery is usually good. Local sales contacts have always been very helpful to resolve issues and other routine matters. The one area that needs work is shipment errors. We as a company have had many over the years. If that can be improved, rating would indeed rise.

That is good feedback for us. Thanks for taking the time to let us know how we can improve. We will take your notes to heart and see what can be done internally to reduce shipment errors. Thanks for sticking with us and buying from R.S. Hughes.

We ordered 3 cases of 3M Quat disinfectant on a 9/29/20 order. We received 2 of 3 cases and 1 was lost by UPS. Then one of the 2 we received had a broken lid on a bottle and the entire shipment was in a trash bag with about 1" of the disinfectant spread throughout. All of the bottle labels were messed up. Then 2 weeks later after us calling to say hey we are missing a case, we get the 3rd case. Again a lid had broken and the box had about half of a bottle spread throughout it. This is probably more a 3M issue than your issue, but since you are a huge 3M distributor I'm throwing this at you. We like the product and it was in one of your mass mailings so your marketing department gets 5 stars.

Jeff, We will be having one of our staff members reach out to you, to figure out where the breakdown is. This isn't acceptable and you should get a response soon from our team!

Service is great! Employees are excellent. My only issue and this affects our whole shop, is that since moving to the new location, they have been out of several things we use on a daily basis. Once the stocking issue is fixed, you will get a 5 star rating.
Response from R.S. HughesFeb 11, 2020
Laura, thank you so much for taking the time to review us. Short lead times for our customers are a priority for us, and our goal is to make sure all of our customers get their orders quickly and when they expect them. Regarding the stocking of your items, this is an issue that will need to be handled directly with your local branch, and as such I have reached out to them to see what we can do for you in that regard. You can expect a phone call from someone from R.S. Hughes shortly. I will followup with you via email later this week to confirm that an adequate solution to your issue has been reached. In the meantime I would like to thank you for contributing to making R.S. Hughes better, and offer my apologies for any delays caused by shipping inconsistencies.

I like your products but the lead time is two to three weeks before I get what I order. that time could be improved. Thanks, Curtis
Response from R.S. HughesFeb 11, 2020
Curtis, thank you for your sincere feedback. We are looking into this, because we would like to formulate a solution that will resolve your issues and suit your local branch. We are contact with them, and will request that they reach out to you. We would like to send you an email later in the week to follow up with you to confirm that you have been contacted by a member of your R.S. Hughes team. In the mean time, we appreciate your willingness to contribute to the improvement of R.S. Hughes, and want to thank you for your business.

Mark Flunker is outstanding as is Jessica, unfortunately due to long delays at levels above Mark and Jessica RS Hughes lost out on our VMI program for cutting tools, abrasives and safety. We enjoy doing business with Mark, he is tops in the field and will continue to do so.
Response from R.S. HughesFeb 4, 2020
Thanks for your feedback Bob! We are sorry to hear that we weren't able to meet your needs, but we do like to hear our staff is outstanding. We will do our best to iron out our wrinkles and delays so that we can earn your VMI program's business back.
