We spend 10 nights at the Royalton Bavaro in the Dominican Republic and was very disappointed. When you work hard for your holidays and pay a large amount of money you expect 5 star luxury but this was far from the truth. The resort itself looks beautiful from the outside but the rooms are dated, the food very mediocre and the majority of the staff simply cant be bothered. We have been to many carribean resorts and some have been amazing but this one is by far the worst. I would rate it as a 3 star at best. If the rooms were improved, the staff were given some training on how to behave and not be standing around on their phones and the quality of food was improved then it could be worthy of 5 stars. We felt like an inconvenience at times and at one point had to ask 5 times for coffee in our room. Its not rocket science its just a simple request. I could write a whole lot more but in a nutshell save your money and book elsewhere.

Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Customer Service at Royalton Saint Lucia I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Royalton Saint Lucia, especially the lack of customer service and accountability from management. We paid extra to upgrade to a Presidential Suite, expecting a higher level of comfort and service. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not cool properly, the hot tub never heated, and we repeatedly had to request assistance with issues that were never resolved during our stay. Even more concerning, I sustained an injury after falling into a hole on the resort property. The incident was reported immediately, yet there was no follow-up from management, and the safety hazard was not addressed while we were there. What has been most frustrating is the complete lack of communication and concern after our departure. I was assured that the General Manager would contact me, but that never happened. After multiple attempts to resolve these issues, corporate finally responded with an offer of just $300, which I found insulting considering the circumstances and the additional money we paid for accommodations that did not meet expectations. Luxury accommodations mean nothing without quality customer service. Problems can happen at any resort, but how management responds speaks volumes about the company. I expected much better from a resort that promotes itself as a luxury destination. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism, follow-through, and genuine concern for guests has left me with a very negative impression. I would strongly encourage anyone considering Royalton Resorts to think twice, especially if customer service and guest safety are important to you.

I don't even know where to start, honestly the experience that I had at the Royalton St Lucia is the worst. Please choose somewhere else to stay on this beautiful island. The room was given really late, the food options were poor quality in my opinion, I only had a good dinner at armadillo the tex mex restaurant. the drinks were served in glasses that look ran through and no straws were available. the main pool had mold, and the bathroom was so unkept it looked horrible almost like a dirty gas station bathroom. There were also no pool towels available to cover the really bad pool loungers. Scoops and Gelato does not serve gelato more like a regular ice-cream. overall horrible experience there, I would not return

Arrived home 3am this morning from Royalton Hideaway Adults only St Lucia. Not a 5 star experience but biggest complaint - we requested double bed, RH said would sort on arrival. Told we had to pay extra $3k on top of the 6.5k already paid. For upgrade to double bed including butler, Diamond Club which we didn’t ask for or want! Bottom line - pay up or leave!!! Thought my husband would explode . $3k!! Resort half empty, several bars closed, food mediocre at best, room service v limited with no beverage service, never saw or offered premium drinks, mini bar consisted water, soda beer, pool towels old, thin and discolored. On going dispute which spoilt holiday. Eventually offered 1k refund which we refused. Since then no response from anyone in management to numerous emails. On going. Beautiful St Lucia but wish we’d gone to Sandals or Secrets!

Whatever anyone does stay WELL away from these disgusting dirty DANGEROUS RESORTS WE HAD NO WATER FIR THREE WHOLE DAYS CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT THE TOILET SITUATION WAS LIKE, the food gave my whole family deli belly’s even though we were in the Dominican rep the staff are rude unhelpful this company of hotels advertised mis leading information TOTAL RIP OFF THE WORST PART OF IT ALL WAS BOOKED WITH THOMAS COOK WHO DID NOTHING OR TRIED TO MOVE US ELSEWHERE I PAYED 7,0000 waste of hard earned money

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! Rooms are damp with sewage odors, cockroaches in rooms and restaurants, urine stained and mold sheets, RUDE staff at Diamond club lounge and check-in staff, terrible management (Miquel) who lied and did nothing when issues brought to his attention. Don’t be fooled by the pictures and marketing. You will regret it.

Hotel Royalton Bavaro. Staff Appraisal – Angela Perez I would like to give a very positive appraisal of Angela Perez for the exceptional help, care and support she provided to me and my family during our holiday. Unfortunately, we experienced some unexpected difficulties during our stay, including a failure of the hotel’s water system, which temporarily left the hotel without water. We also experienced problems when the ATM failed to dispense money because it was out of service. Throughout these situations, Angela was extremely helpful, approachable and reassuring. She showed genuine concern for us and took the time to explain the procedures clearly, direct us to the appropriate assistance and help us understand what steps we needed to take. Her calm and caring manner was particularly appreciated during situations that could otherwise have caused considerable stress and inconvenience. What stood out most was Angela’s willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that these unexpected problems had as little impact as possible on our holiday experience. She remained supportive and attentive, demonstrating genuine concern for our wellbeing and making sure we knew where to go and what to do for assistance. Angela is a credit to the hotel. Her professionalism, compassion and excellent customer service made a real difference to me and my family. Despite the difficulties we encountered, her support helped us remain positive and enjoy our holiday with minimal disruption. Thank you, Angela, for your kindness, patience and outstanding support. Your efforts were genuinely appreciated and will be remembered

Royalton bavaro casino resort in punta cana! Worst place ever! Pools never cleaned! Discussing and dirty. My child got itchy rash from pool dirty water. Staff don’t care, food same 3 options. Pools broken tiles, my daughter cut her feet twice inside pool.
