Terrible lounge. Totally regret buying it. If I could easily return it I would. I bought the three seater with chaise. The two corner pieces are brick hard and the middle piece is so soft and sits nearly a cm lower than the two end pieces. Would not recommend buying.

Hi Sarah, We're sorry to hear your M1 isn't sitting evenly. We'd have loved the chance to help before now, as we don't have any record of you contacting our Customer Experience team about this. Issues like this are exactly what our warranty is for.
We've now emailed you directly to get a few photos so we can move this forward and make it right. Keep an eye on your inbox and we'll take it from there.

I ordered the sleeper bed - DONT DO IT!
I ordered the sleeper bed. It was harder than a rock to sleep on. I woke up with body pain, every where. My neck, hips, shoulders, back were on fire! This is a ridiculously hard couch. Not meant for sleeping.

Hi Bianca,
The S8 is built with a firmer, supportive feel, which a lot of our customers love, but comfort is personal. That's exactly what our 100-day return policy is for. If the S8 isn't working out, contact us at [email protected] and we'll get a return started for you.

Ok Sofa, Bad Customer Service
The S8 Sofa was fine, however the customer service post-sale was horrendous.
When my sofa arrived yesterday, I gleefully unpacked it. However upon going to the website, I learned that there was a new model.
This new one must have launched on or near the exact date I placed an order for my old one.
Upon learning this, I contacted their customer service inquiring about an exchange, but they said that wasn't possible. I would have to incur the $99 return fee and then order a brand new one.
Needless to say that doesn't fly, and they don't seem to be doing the math well. I was read to to pay 50% more for a new sofa, and all they had to do was waive the $99 return fee... but instead, they're getting the whole sofa back. And will make no money from me. They are not valuing my time, which is worth more than $99 to me.

Hi BL, we're sorry you were caught in between the launch of a new model. That's exactly why we have a 100-day return window: if you're not 100% happy, you always have the option to return. We don't have an exchange program, so moving to the S8+ does mean returning your S8 and placing a new order, unfortunately that's not something we can bypass. Our team has already reached out personally to help with the return and reorder if the S8+ is your preference.

Rove R4- After less than two months
Rove R4- After less than two months, the fabric has pulls, the cushions have essentially collapsed and the company says it’s “as expected” so apparently looking 20 years old when brand new is the intention.
Save your money, this is a garbage product.
Response from Rove LabSep 23, 2026
Hi Kari, I'm sorry to hear you're not happy with your R4, that's genuinely not the experience we want anyone to have.
I do want to explain where we landed on the warranty claim. The cushions use a plush fill that needs regular plumping to keep its shape, the same as you'd expect with any down filled pillow. Since that's normal behavior for the material rather than a defect, we weren't able to approve a warranty claim on that basis.
That said, we've reached out to you directly to make things right.

Absolute disgraceful service and only 1…
Absolute disgraceful service and only 1 person in the whole company answering calls and emails in the UK.
Called them around 25 times and kept on hold for hours on end.
At least 10 emails sent finally getting a response.
The sofa arrived used and damaged and is designed for short people around 4’ in height.
It’s like sitting in the floor.
There is NO back support you feel as though you are in a sun lounger.
They offered peanuts as compensation for the damaged sofa and then decided to give it away free to charity instead of allowing me to keep it and fix my self out of desperation with an upholsterer.
I really believe that their videos are mostly AI generated and their reviews are false.
It’s basically a foam blow up sofa which is more of a gimmick than anything else and we fell for it.
Response from Rove LabSep 7, 2026
We spoke with you directly and arranged a full refund to resolve this. Hope that lands as fair given what you went through.
On the support side, our records show one missed call outside business hours and one missed call during business hours that was returned the next day, along with a number of answered calls and emails. That doesn't match the picture described here, and we're always working to respond faster, but our average response time remains under 24 hours.
On the sofa, that's a fair place for us to disagree. The Smartfoam is designed at a medium firmness on purpose, it holds its shape and keeps clean lines instead of sagging out of the box, and it does soften up with regular use. Not a gimmick, just a different feel than a broken in sofa on day one, and we get that it wasn't the fit you wanted.

If this is what the brand considers…
This review specifically reflects my experience with the RoveLab Taiwan team and the local distributor/customer service team.
If this is what the Taiwan team considers “normal quality,” then it is genuinely difficult to understand what quality standards are actually being applied in Taiwan.
Before purchasing, I specifically traveled to Kaohsiung to see and try the sofa in person. I made the purchase only after confirming that I was satisfied with both the appearance and seating comfort of the showroom model.
However, the product delivered to my home showed noticeable differences in seat height, inconsistent foam recovery, cushions that did not appear fully expanded, and a seating feel that was clearly different from the showroom model.
Even after waiting beyond the recovery period recommended by the Taiwan team, the issues remained.
Yet instead of carrying out a convincing objective inspection or providing clear technical criteria, the responses from the Taiwan customer service team continued to revolve around phrases such as “personal preference,” “product characteristics,” and “within the normal range.”
My question has always been very simple:
Does the product delivered to me actually meet the same quality standard represented by the product displayed and sold by RoveLab Taiwan?
Unfortunately, I have still not received a convincing answer.
What is especially frustrating is the way the Taiwan team handled the after-sales process. Rather than objectively verifying whether the product met the brand’s stated specifications, the issue was repeatedly reframed as a matter of my personal perception or preference.
So if a customer receives a sofa that looks and feels noticeably different from the showroom model, but the sofa is still technically usable, does the Taiwan team simply consider that “normal”?
Even more disappointing, my later follow-up messages to the Taiwan distributor/customer service team eventually received no further response.
After paying this price for a product, I did not expect the customer to be the one repeatedly chasing the Taiwan team, documenting the issue, and trying to prove that there may be a product-quality problem, while the main response from the local team is simply that everything is “normal.”
My concerns are not only about the consistency of the product quality, but also about the extremely passive way the Taiwan team has handled this case. Possible product defects have not been properly investigated, objective quality standards have not been clearly demonstrated, and communication has eventually stopped.
If the official images, showroom model, and the actual product delivered to customers can differ this noticeably, and the Taiwan team can still explain everything as being “within the normal range,” then I would strongly recommend that customers in Taiwan think carefully before purchasing.
At this point, my experience with the RoveLab Taiwan team deserves one star.
Not because the product failed to match my personal preferences perfectly, but because the way the Taiwan team has responded to a legitimate product-quality concern has seriously damaged my trust in the brand.
Response from Rove LabSep 7, 2026
We looked into this closely with our Taiwan team, and you're right that the communication could have been considerably better after your follow-up messages, that's on us and we're sorry for it.
Our Taiwan team is back in direct contact with you now and actively working through an inspection of the product. We understand you've already received a replacement piece for two of the modules, and the team will continue working towards an amicable resolution with you.
This shouldn't have taken this long, and we appreciate you laying out the full timeline.

Long Delivery & Delays
Place my order in July, delivery was schedule in August, now it's delayed to September.
Also, I keep getting emails asking for reviews of my experience.
I hate this, I moved to a new place and there's no couch in the the living room. Will never recommend nor ever do business with Rove Lab ever again.
Here's a copy/ paste of the last email they sent me asking for this review on Trustpilot:
"I have now sent you three emails asking for 27 seconds. I'm aware of how that math looks.
This is the last one. There is no fourth, and you have my word on that, which is worth something given I'm the person who writes these."
Response from Rove LabSep 1, 2026
Eric, the delay from August to September is on us, and I'm sorry for it. That's a real inconvenience when you're waiting on furniture for a new place.
The review request emails were also a mistake on our end. We already reached out after you flagged it to explain what went wrong there, and we're fixing the flow so it doesn't happen to other customers.
I understand you've since cancelled the order and requested a refund, and we've processed that. If you decide to give us another chance, reach out to [email protected] and we'll make sure you get a discount code.

Terrible Experience Do Not Shop Here!
I placed a decent order, around $7,000 for my patio furniture. I thought to myself they have nice pieces and for what I’m paying for I’m expecting higher end quality. However since I received the order I’ve had nothing but issues. When I placed the order “my covers came first“. However they did not come in at all. After I reached out about this they told me I should receive it with my M1 outdoor sectional which they simply didn’t. I ended up reaching out again and making a claim, as they told me that was the process which should take 24-48 hours to hear back. So I waited, after a week of not hearing anything I reached out again and they said they were still looking into this. Another week went by and nothing. I reached out and just never heard anything back again despite multiple emails for a follow up. I ended up having to buy my own covers from a third party to protect my sectional as I didn’t hear anything back. On top of all of this, I ordered two sling chairs and one of the boxes was completely destroyed, ok not a problem because it’s going to end up in recycling either way until I opened it and the actual framing of the chair was dented. So I had to make another claim. Again waiting weeks on end to hear something. After 2 months of constant follow up emails I finally heard back in which they stated they could only give 10% off if I was to keep the chair. I had to follow up on the missing covers as they didn’t say anything about this only for them to tell me it should come mid September and that they can now do 20%. I emailed back to state I want the covers returned as I ended up buying my own since I didn’t hear anything back for weeks on end and wasn’t going to allow my furniture to get ruined. I emailed back to ask if I could just get a new chair and just return the other one… it’s going on 3 more days and I haven’t heard anything back. So this will probably take even longer now. At this point I just want to return everything because this has been an absolute terrible experience from Rove Lab however knowing my experience they will probably say they can’t do anything. I am also waiting on a shipping label to return my slats which I was lied to about being able to use them outside to raise my sectional for air flow. Not sure why this was a product that was even offered if I can’t use it outside. I’ve told my friends and family to not shop here given my terrible experience which sucks because the pieces are beautiful but the customer service I have received removes all of that. Very, very disappointed in a company like this. If I was paying $300 for a lounge chair instead of $1500 then I’d get it but after spending almost $7000 this just isn’t worth it.
Response from Rove LabAug 28, 2026
Gerson, the wait for your sectional covers went on far too long, and we're sorry for it. That refund is processed now, but it should have happened weeks ago, and we're taking a hard look at how a claim can sit that long without an answer. We're also glad to see your sling chair replacement has been processed and is on its way.
On the $200, that was tied to a promotion you weren't technically eligible for, but we honored it anyway because the runaround you dealt with warranted it.
We still owe you clarity on the slats, and we're having someone from leadership reach out directly to get that resolved.
