Gary Wong a plumber with Roto-Rooter was hired to fix two running toilets he changed a flapper on two toilets and fixed a chain on my master bedroom toilet. later on my water bill quadrupled-Gary was called back yesterday on June 3rd 2025 and found out-that he himself did not cut the chain on the flapper short enough and the chain prevented the flapper from fully closing, Gary admitted his error. his actions were harmful - the water ran continuously for hours up to 40 gallons, per hour-my water bill has averaged $600.00 per month since. Gary tried to charge us for a diagnostic fee when his incompetence or contrived malfeasance created the problem. I did not allow him to rip us off anymore. His supervisor Jay St stated that Gary- left because he felt threatened- Gary left because he lied, tried to cover up his lies, and then manipulated everyone to falsely smear, and slander a long time customer. the statement provided by Jay St, was that - Gary fixed a chain that was blocking the flapper from closing. Precisely what he was accused of not fixing properly. We are out of over 2000 dollars and Roto-Rooter sent me a email stating that they will not service us anymore based on a lie. Thank God for my inside and outside 24 hour surveillance system, Plus Go- Pro that i wear when contractors come to my home. So i am being ripped off by Gary, Slandered. Customers be aware of Gary Wong. I will not let this rest. Keith Cormier

Stay away. Jabari will rip you off. Misdiagnosed problem and tried to charge an extra 4600$ over the akready 5700$. That wasnt even the problem. Stay away from this company. Trying to keep 5000$ out of 5500$ for digging down for an joir and half. The estimate was for digging, repair, jet cleaing, and refill. All they did is dig. Dont ever use them.

They installed our water heater and the gas line which popped out its place and water line wrong, to the point our whole how was filed in gas so we had to call the fire department to close it and they had to tell our neighbors to leave there home cause our house could explode at any moment, we weren't even allowed in our hours for 3 hours untill the gas left our house, we called them to let them know they came to re-install the new guy said that they did a bad job very bad job, we called to get reimbursement or at less pay less on our bill and they said they won't do it, I said why you almost caused our lives dying in our sleep or our house blowing up, the lady who works in the front said, cause you guys didn't die or get hurt, we won't do it!!! They said we won't even when the sue case cause we didn't die or get hurt, this company didn't care about no one's safety so please don't use them

Palmyra, Pa called Roto Rooter for a clogged kitchen sink. He said it would be a ten minute job to unclog the sink and the charge was $440. He gave us the online $100 coupon for a total charge of $340. It did only take him ten minutes. We will never use them again…too expensive.

In over 7 decades I have seen companies get themselves established and maintain their reputation by providing great customer services. This is one exception. Greed will destroy your reputation, in most cases as in this one. I called Roto Rooter for a bathtub faucet leak. Plumber came out, saw the faucet and quoted me an almost $600.00 estimate! Without warranty and almost $1000.00 with warranty! I dispatched the employee immediately, and did the job myself for a total of $13.00! I'm a disabled Vet, that is the reason why I called Roto Rooter, but I felt abused, and underestimated by this company. I retired the second time as a Mechanical/Electronics Engineer, my 6 year Grandson could do a job like this, but to charge someone half a grand for a 5 minute job, is a crime! Thumbs down!

Contracted with Roto Rooter to repair main sewer. They dug up the line, made the repair, left the hole open. Requested permit but did not pick up the permit for weeks. The hole is still open with a big pile of soil sitting on my lawn. Do not respond to calls. In the meantime the water line to the house froze. Took a day to get the water line unfrozen and water back into the house. Do not call Roto rooter for anything.

I had Roto Rooter out Feb.9th 2025 to replace a single faucet and a sink drain basket both of which I supplied, the ripoff artist worked 1 1/2 hours to replace both of those items and charged me $630 thats right $630 a normal plumber would charge around $38 to $50 hourly so I complained to the company Roto Rooter the gave me a refund of $152 I am 65 years old or I would have confronted the man but to old to do that anymore, So people do not use Roto Rooter for any plumbing work

Stay away from them! Too expensive! Not very honest.
