Thank you for your feedback, Sean. We believe some important context is missing and would like to clarify the situation for accuracy and transparency. Sean was referred to us by a former client who had a positive experience and successful outcome. He reached out outside of normal business hours, requesting expedited delivery immediately on a Sunday. Prior to payment, we clearly communicated via email that the earliest possible delivery under our expedited service would be Sunday evening and that this was the best we could offer. The resume was delivered exactly within that agreed-upon timeframe. Following delivery, communication escalated quickly and included unprofessional and demeaning language directed toward our staff, which made it difficult to engage in a productive discussion. The correspondence also included repeated threats of leaving a negative review unless a full refund was issued. Before our refunds team had the opportunity to review or respond, a charge dispute was initiated with the bank. At that point, we do not have any other option. Additionally, during this engagement, Sean made inappropriate personal advances toward a female staff member, asking her to “get drinks,” which made her feel extremely uncomfortable and crossed all professional boundaries. Despite this, our team continued to act professionally and made every reasonable effort to assist. It's a shame, that this rating does not reflect the amount of time, effort, and grace we devoted in assisting this client. We understand that prolonged unemployment especially over a year, can fuel frustration towards others even those just trying their best to help and we empathize with Sean. Although we know Sean will not do the right thing and remove this inaccurate review, we still sincerely wish him the best moving forward.

Hi Lindsey, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We have carefully reviewed your case, from your purchase on August 20 through delivery and all communications. We also revisited your statement about “3–4 weeks of communication,” and that is not accurate — there were periods where responses from your side stopped, which contributed to the delays. Looking at your qualifications and the roles you were pursuing, we recognize in hindsight we should have not taken you on as a client. We made an exception because of your career coach. While we aim to support our clients to the best of our ability, our services are most effective when a client’s experience is aligned with the positions they are targeting. When expectations are largely unrealistic, frustration can understandably arise, and at times it is directed toward us rather than an acknowledgment of the gap between qualifications and the roles being pursued. We also noted your comment regarding ChatGPT. While AI tools can be helpful for generating ideas or drafts, they cannot replace the professional judgment, personalization, and industry-specific expertise our editors provide. AI may support parts of the process, but the true value comes from the tailored strategies and hands-on work that ensure each resume is aligned with career goals and market expectations. There is a reason you are still searching for a role and still in need of a professional resume, hence engaging our services in the first place. However, our mission is to partner with clients respectfully, set achievable goals, and help them position themselves for opportunities that best match their background. While this engagement was ultimately not the right fit, we appreciate your feedback and wish you every success in your continued job search.
