Gaslighted me into thinking the call was at a certain time and then said there are no jobs

Hey Debalina, we're so disappointed that we never had a chance to connect. Our records shows 2 calls at 10:15 and 10:18am, and both went straight to VM. ☹️ We have a feeling it might be a setting feature with unknown numbers set to go straight to VM. We also texted you to find another time by never received a response afterwards. Since we've never had a chance to speak with you, "then said there are no jobs" - we're not exactly sure who/what you're referring to.

Skip the Resume Services — ChatGPT Does It Better
I engaged Rock My Resume to support my transition into private sector work, but after 3–4 weeks of back-and-forth exchanges, I’m convinced that ChatGPT can produce resume drafts that are just as good—if not better—than what I received. The recent change in Chief Editor seems to have impacted overall quality as well. My advice: invest in the latest ChatGPT models and circulate your resume with contacts in your target industry for feedback. You’ll get far better value for your money.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We have carefully reviewed your case, from your purchase on August 20 through delivery and all communications. We also revisited your statement about “3–4 weeks of communication,” and that is not accurate — there were periods where responses from your side stopped, which contributed to the delays.
Looking at your qualifications and the roles you were pursuing, we recognize in hindsight we should have not taken you on as a client. We made an exception because of your career coach. While we aim to support our clients to the best of our ability, our services are most effective when a client’s experience is aligned with the positions they are targeting. When expectations are largely unrealistic, frustration can understandably arise, and at times it is directed toward us rather than an acknowledgment of the gap between qualifications and the roles being pursued.
We also noted your comment regarding ChatGPT. While AI tools can be helpful for generating ideas or drafts, they cannot replace the professional judgment, personalization, and industry-specific expertise our editors provide. AI may support parts of the process, but the true value comes from the tailored strategies and hands-on work that ensure each resume is aligned with career goals and market expectations. There is a reason you are still searching for a role and still in need of a professional resume, hence engaging our services in the first place.
