Robert has put together a magical experience of discovery, friendship, and exploration. Robert and his team genuinely care about the growth and experience of every individual in the group. We have formed a new family and that is a priceless treasure I will be forever grateful for.

mium Egypt Tour Turns Nightmare: Broken Promises and Health Hazards The Good: The magnificence of Egypt's historical sites and monuments shone through despite the tour's shortcomings. The ancient locations themselves provided memorable moments, though often rushed. The Significant Issues: Health & Safety - Our Nile cruise boat harbored serious mold problems that caused illness among multiple participants. Medical staff dismissed these health concerns, and we later discovered our tour leader had selected the cheapest vessels from eight available options. The Host's Conduct - Robert Edward Grant, the tour's advertised expert leader, demonstrated shocking unprofessionalism throughout the expedition. Rather than engaging with the 144 paying participants who each invested a significant amount of money, he remained largely absent, preferring to spend his time with his private entourage. His behavior made it clear that the satisfaction and experience of paying guests were not priorities. Meals, which should have been opportunities for group interaction and learning, were spent with his inner circle while paying participants were left to fend for themselves. Despite promising multiple educational sessions, Grant failed to deliver any meaningful instruction. The single session he conducted consisted merely of a basic meditation and gratitude circle, falling far short of the expert-level educational content that participants had paid for. Accommodation & Organization - The last-minute switch to a remote hotel location meant exhausting three-hour bus rides to reach sites. Constant itinerary changes and poor communication left us frequently confused about schedules. The promised educational content was sparse, with presentations either canceled or lacking substance. Leadership - Tour leadership was notably absent, with minimal interaction and guidance. When participants raised legitimate concerns, they were met with gaslighting responses like, "Ask yourself why you chose this experience." Professional concerns were consistently dismissed or deflected. Value Assessment: At more than double the price of comparable tours, this expedition promised luxury but delivered significant disappointments. The premium pricing was not reflected in any aspect of the experience, from accommodations to transportation to expertise. Bottom Line: While Egypt remains a magnificent destination worthy of any traveler's bucket list, this overpriced tour failed to deliver on its premium promises while potentially compromising participants' health. Future travelers would be better served by operators who prioritize customer safety and satisfaction over profit margins. I would not recommend any tours led by Robert Edward Grant.
Disappointed
As much as I am a person who goes with the flow and makes the best of everything I feel compelled to warn those who would spend money they cannot really afford on a trip with Robert. This is a man child who has much healing to do and who has a young woman running his travel company alone without proper software or help. The help he brought on the trip for her was a young influencer from Miami with zero experience who he wanted to engage for personal reasons. She ended up not helping for personal reasons. The trip was chaotic, unsafe, unhealthy, and we were targeted by the government of Egypt. Robert was not allowed to talk to us at sites and we were not allowed phones in the Kings Chamber and we were body searched. This did not happen when I went with other tour guides. We were given 3 star boats on a 5 star trip and faculty talks were delayed and given when all were tired or hungry. No talks before each site were done despite knowing he could not talk at the sites. We had to sign for every bottle of water and tea on the ships which was a nuisance. The DJ was not given equipment the first night so that party was a waste. Major sites and pyramids were not delivered as promised. One did not get a feeling of spirituality at all. The leader is more interested in his sunglasses, jewelry and inner circle of groupies than delivering a spiritual $13k trip. When powerful attendees with much spiritual wisdom offered information they were told that he built the pyramid and they were dismissed. Many attendees complained that he dismissed them as well and that they would no longer attempt to engage with him. The parties that were thrown outdoors in front of a temple and the pyramids were breathtaking except it was so cold out that it took away the ability to appreciate it. One would think that the organizers could look at the weather and make sure the tent had vinyl walls of windows and that heaters would be brought in. This was not done. At the end of the day Robert admitted bringing 144 people instead of 70 was a mistake and he admitted the boats were a disappointment as well as his tour company who booked the St Regis New Capital and couldn’t even find the hotel it was so remote. That tour company also should have known there was a release of Hamas prisoners to that hotel. Again we were put in harms way. But Robert was asked to mediate this and make reparations to everyone and he refused despite doubling his profits and not doubling his staff or costs. Instead, he chose to take down our accounts off WeTravel so he could erase our reviews. He never inquired about anyone’s health including a woman who attended two of his trips who broke her wrist and was left with no care on the ship for 24 hours. Another woman who went on two of his trips almost died of an asthma attack and when asked why she did not seek help she said she was scared to get kicked off the trip and be a woman alone in Egypt. This was because a person who did complain about mold was kicked off! There is no accountability and then Robert goes on social media trying to deflect and saying these trips are not a vacation and we are just along on his trip. Well this is why I warn anyone NOT to spend $13,000 to be following him around on HIS trip as you will be dismissed and you will feel hugely disappointed that the man you see on Gaia and Youtube has NOT done the healing work on himself and is a huge disappointment to those who held him in high esteem on these trips. He brings his personal crazy dating life under your nose which creates gossip and drama and takes away from the experience as well. I have been to Egypt before and his trip is more than double the price it should be and many beautiful spiritual moments will be taken away from you because of the size of the group and the disappointment in the leader. I still feel so horrible for my new friends (best part of the trip) who had to experience their first time in Egypt by starting off in a remote, non tourist government hotel so far away from anything. It made them so depressed and took away from their excitement of what they thought was a trip of a lifetime. They had the same sinking feeling at our first day when the tour company yelled at Robert and told him he was never to talk or use a pointer at any sites as the government was watching. Soon after we boarded old smelly boats that were hardly 5 star and many times your window of your room was looking into another boat and mold and sewage smells took over. When the windows were opened as a remedy we then were told there was no heat. We slept dressed with 2 blankets in 50 degree temperatures on the boat. Abu Simbel was canceled on a lie and two of the three pyramids were never shown to us as promised. The disappointments never ended but it bonded us. I made lifelong friends from this trip and would pay the extra $7000 for them at the end of the day. But I felt the need to be honest here.

Egypt. Land of ancient wonders, iconic pyramids, and a “mysterious” charm that only, Robert Grant's expedition hosted by Saba Tours could offer. I am not going to elaborate on the all the events but most of the reviews that are on the internet about Robert Grant's Egypt trip on Feb 2025 are true. But for me, Egypt's expedition was more like a cruel uncanny facade! Where were the Leader's or anyone, when travelers got extremely sick from mold on the ship , cancelled excursions, cancelled speakers, hotels that were 2 hours away from excursions and entertained guests' that were released from prison, injuries or any decisions that needed to be addressed ? At one of the temples I tripped and fell on my wrist. Thank God for anti inflammatory that I brought from home & for another friend who made a splint for my hand. After a while one of Robert's team & a member from Saba Tours came to check on me. They saw my hand and assured me someone would pick me up in the morning, never heard from anyone for 24 hours. They never called or offered me any type of assistance nor food/water. The next day I was rushed to the DR , conclusion I had a broken wrist. I had to pay for airfare costs and cancelled the remaining trip which nothing was refunded. In social media we have all kinds of people portraying someone they're not but sometimes they are? As of today No one from Saba Tours or Robert's team have called, emailed, text to ask how I was. The answers are always within do not seek without ❤️

I recently went on a trip to Egypt with Robert Edward Grant and I wanted to share my experience. It was advertise as a luxury expedition and I paid $13,000 for this trip. Fortunately, our first hotel was in the middle of nowhere an hour and a half out of Cairo. It was a very nice hotel however, the next day Hamas hostages were released into the hotel. Did not feel safe at all, and I felt the hotel is not appropriate for this tour group. In addition, the river boat that I went on on the Nile was subpar, and my room was full of black, mold and mildew. When I reported the room to Roberts team, no one was able to help me and did not offer any help. Throughout the trip, the trip was chaotic and because of this many things were missed due to last-minute schedule changes. In addition because of the mold and mildew in my room, I became very sick The most disappointing part of the trip with my experience in the pyramid. I was only able to sit in the sarcophagus for a few seconds, and when I asked Robert, why we only got a few seconds And he and his colleagues were able to get a lot more time he said, of course. He basically said that this is not a vacation and that it was an expedition and that Participants we’re going along on his trip. I did not see how this was an expedition because we did not do anything out of the ordinary. Also, I felt that the large amount of money that I paid would offer me more benefits than just the regular status quo. Also, I experienced Robert Edward Grant as being under the influence of psychedelics during some of our sacred visits. When I address this concern with him, he did not deny it. In my opinion, I felt like this was unsafe for the entire group Because psychedelics are not legal in Egypt. On a positive note, the people that I met on the trip were wonderful and I will have lasting friendships. I would not recommend you take any trip with Robert Edward Grant in that you save your money and find a tour guide that charges quite a bit less.

AXO Expedition Egypt from 1 to 12 February was supposed to be a luxury adventure, but it was just a very expensive disappointment. One third of the group became ill due to moldy Nile river boats. One of the hotels we stayed in had a prisoner release party for Hamas operatives during our stay. Robert was largely absent as a guide and did not deliver his two scheduled talks. Just one meditation. Major trip visits were cancelled. The first, Abu Simbel. A sand storm lie was told as the reason the journey would not happen, but this was revealed to be false. All the Giza pyramids were scheduled for private visits on our final night, but two of the three were cancelled on the night. Just not at all luxury or adventure or educational. Do not book this experience. You will be disappointed.

DO NOT BOOK TRIPS WITH ROBERT EDWARD GRANT What was advertised as a “luxury, 5-star, exclusive expedition” turned out to be quite the opposite. From the the moldy boats to sickness, disorganization, security issues, same hotel as 70+ newly released Hamas prisoners, last minute and frustrating changes to the itinerary, gaslighting, harassment, and more, this trip was an example of everything going wrong and nothing seeming to go right. It culminated with a night at the great pyramid where we were given a whopping 10 seconds each in the King’s Chamber sarcophagus…not even long enough to settle in. Note: we were promised all three pyramids being rented for the night for us but only had the one and were pulled out of the sarchophagus after about 10 seconds by Grant himself. Personally, I saw mold in my bathroom and on my mattress on the boat and experienced many allergic reaction symptoms throughout the week on the boat. I am still suffering from many symptoms and I’ve been home for three weeks now. All complaints about mold and mold sickness were downplayed and turned around with no accountability (“ask yourself why you chose this”, “we live in a u-inverse and your perception creates heaven on earth or hell”). Fair enough, but as a “luxury” tour operator and for the price charged, none of these issues should be occurring. For $13k plus international airfare, the experience should have been seamless, luxurious, and stress free. Instead, another trip to Egypt will be required to do things the right way at all the incredible and magical sites. Use caution, if you are considering a trip with Robert Edward Grant. Disclaimer: These are my personal observations, supported by photos and statements from other attendees. I strongly recommend anyone considering Robert Edward Grant’s events to research thoroughly before committing.
