These showers are awesome! Great shipping, arrived without a scratch. Filled it with 10gallons of water and easily got 20min plus of shower time with the shower head attachment. This is going to be the envy of all my friends when camping and mountain biking. I get to wash my bike anytime I want, anywhere I am. Brilliant!

Unit is so so. A little over priced for what you get. Wish there was a way to tell how much water is in the unit.

Hi J, There is a way to tell how much water is in the unit. From our manual: Water level: You can check the water by looking at the water level through the clear hose. To be able to see it, loosen the fill cap, hold the spray nozzle above the tank, and pull the spray nozzle trigger. Or use a small stick as a dip stick through the fill cap opening. You cannot check the water while it is pressurized. Also, from our the support and FAQs on our website: If you have an extra outlet installed on your Road Shower, use the uphill one first. As it starts to spray air, switch to the downhill outlet, knowing you have only 1-2 gallons left at that point. Please feel free to reach out directly to [email protected] or 505.231.1108 during business hours to discuss any issues you may be having which would cause you to feel the unit is not worth it.

When I received it, the pressure purge valve would not hold 15psi. I contacted road shower and the sent me a new cap right away. We used it last week on a camping trip. The outside temp was mid to upper 70s and party cloudy sky’s. While driving on the highway water temp only got up to 88deg. At the campsite with shade from the trees water temp got to mid 70s. I did see on roadshower website they sell a propane instant hot water heater, I’ll invest in one of those for next time. But it was nice to have 10 gallons of pressurized water while camping. I also purchased the z brackets to mount on my Yakima rack, they came slightly bent and do not hold it level. They look like they were bent like they were overloaded and bend down some when I first put on the empty roadshower. It does have braces welded on but just looks like poor craftsmanship.

Thanks for the review. Just a couple of comments. The wind from the highway will tend to cool the water to air temperature over a long drive. And parking in shade will not permit the water to heat up. Our Z-brackets are very beefy and way over engineered. I don't see how they could possibly bend. Please contact us for another set if these are in anyway bending.

Just used my RoadShower for the first time and it was gloriously perfect. I spent the past 5 days camping and climbing up in the Bugaboos Mountains of Canada. I was smelly and covered with dirt and sweat. When I got back to my Van/home on Wheels that was located at least 2 hours from the nearest conventional shower, I took off my pack, boots, are some food, put on my swimming suit and took a shower there at the trailhead parking lot! Awesome water pressure, I never needed to pressurize it while showering (I did that when I filled the Road Shower up a week ago). The water was warm and refreshing in a 70 degree day and I could think of anything more prefect. I’ve been living the Van life for the past year and this new addition is a game changer! Stoked. High quality and will last lifetime and beyond I’d imagine.

Awesome. Love my road shower. The thing is indestructible. I was moving it from my trailer to my truck and forgot to clamp it on the roof rack. Needless to say about a mile from my house it flew off the roof at a stop light. Just a few scratches. The thing still works great. Takes a hit and keeps working.
