I finally had my full refund. So I now update my review to 4 stars. Still missing 1 star as my initial flex neck head unit became obsolete due to loosen head just dropped and lost during a camp. I still need to buy a new unit. Im currently a Road Shower 4 user in Turkey (perhaps the only one) for almost a year (purchased last year) and as my flex neck shower head accessory “head” was defected and fell apart and lost all of a sudden, I reordered a new one from Road Shower online before my trip to USA in November. Although there was plenty of time before my arrival I couldnt receive my flex neck shower head on time as there was a huge delay in delivery (supposedly courier related) I couldnt manage to receive my order at all and flew back to my home country without my order. And the worst thing is that I was not refunded for the shipping cost (claimed as courier company’s fault by the Road Shower customer rep.) and still waiting to be refunded for the item itself. So much disappointed. :((

Ali, We are very sorry the order didn't make it to you in time. As we discussed, your order shipped from our facility on the day you placed the order. We couldn't have fulfilled our duty to you any more quickly. Unfortunately, items are occasionally held up by weather, holidays, or other errors in transit. We have not received the shower head back yet, but when it is returned to us we can initiate a refund.

I bought the 4s, 7 gallons for my Ram 6’4 box with camper. I wish they make it 6 foot long.

I recently received my roadshower 4L. It arrived quickly and was well packaged so there wouldn't be any damage. The two rails make mounting it very versatile. Used it twice and it gives me about three showers with one fill. The water heats up really quick even when the outside temps aren't that high. The quality is top notch, and customer service is stellar. If you have any issues, reach out, and they respond very quickly.

Purchased road shower 4S on 6/2019 for mounting on aluminess roof rack on a Nissan NV3500 Likes: fit seamlessly running across the back of the aluminess rack sideways perfect width and the included mounting brackets and bolts fit incredibly well. Like the road shower was built specifically for this application. Very easy to set up and use. Seems to hold enough water to (quickly) rinse 2 adults and 3 kids after a day surfing with a little spare drizzle for the boards. Dislikes: I thought this was built in the US. Not a huge deal. But the Chinese just haven’t nailed the concept of longevity in most of what they produce. Velcro straps are used to hold the hose in place. It does not hold up well in direct sunlight. The Velcro straps disintegrated after 1 week. I’m not an expert on fluid dynamics but it seems that a smaller diameter hose would make better use of the pressurized water coming out of the tank translating to higher pressure spray and longer spray time at the nozzle. Overall I’m happy with the road shower. It fit seamlessly for my application, gets a lot of attention, and a lot of use. I would recommend it to others and would purchase it again although I’m expecting at least 10 years off a product like this with expected replacement of sun exposed plastic parts.

Thank you for the feedback. Glad you like it and it is working out. Sounds like it fit perfectly...thanks for sharing that. On your dislikes, there are different opinions about China, so will leave it at that and respect yours. We do believe we have a quality product. There may be some inferior velcro straps on some units, we are not sure. We can easily send new ones to you...just let us know. Or you can buy a bag of them from Amazon and have some spares on hand. I like your thought on the fluid dynamics. We tried to stick with standard fittings and hoses. Our hose is basically a US garden hose, so can easily be repaired or swapped out. We like the expandable hoses for camp for reaching the campfire, etc. You can dial back the pressure with the on/off black handle so it does not come out so fast. I agree with you and appreciate the comment that you expect to get 10 years of service. The hose may need replacing and the powder coat may lose some luster (use some car wax to prolong it), but it should work fine then.

Epic fail on our first use. I was concerned with the hose connection from the start and sure enough, the hose came loose while on the road. We lost all pressure and water, essentially making it unusable. The hose connectors won’t tighten enough now to hold pressure. Additionally, while the brackets held the unit securely, tightening, or removing, the nuts is an hour long process. If I can get the hose to pressurize I’ll give the unit another try, but for now it sits usually in our garage. Awaiting new hose... Yes, please send me the new hose. What information do you need in order to send it to me? Thank you for the response. New hose on its way. Thank you so much. I’m updating my rating, as such.

Edit: Jeff, please email your shipping address to [email protected] so we can send you a new hose. We are happy to do it, and sorry for the delay in the full use of your shower. We are sorry you had a bad first experience. It sounds like the hose clamp gave way. We can send you a new hose. In the meantime, you can get a regular hose clamp at any hardware store and do a temporary replacement. The clamps we use are pex clamps and require a pex clamp tool to tighten them if you have one. While traveling we recommend turning the black handle to the off position so the hose does not have to bear 65 PSI while on bumpy roads. As for the clamps, every situation is a little different. Most cross bars would take a few minutes to install. Sounds like you don't have much clearance for the nuts. Maybe your rack manufacturer would carry a clamping system that would be easier to use.

Awesome product! Just a few small flaws make it less than 5 stars. The clips that hold the hose to the side of the tank don't keep the hose secure. Had to pull over multiple times and re hook the hose to the tank, before I finally added additional velcro straps to secure. Secondly, the hose clamps on the hose failed on the first use (at well below the max recommended pressure), and had to be replaced.
