Avoid At All Costs — Hidden Fees Every Step of the Way
RoadGuard's website advertises "first month on us" like the service is free. The second my installation was done, the service center told me I owed RoadGuard additional setup fees they never mentioned upfront. RoadGuard also never sent the court the installation confirmation they're required to send, even though they told me they would. Customer service is a joke. I couldn't get a real person on the phone using the number tied to my account, not once. The moment I called from a secondary number app, someone picked up immediately. Draw your own conclusions. Here's the real kicker: I was charged just to have them tell me which service center could install the device. Then I paid RoadGuard again for the installation. Then I paid the service center on top of that. Less than a week later the device turned out to be faulty, and now I'm being charged by both RoadGuard and the service center again just to have them look into their own broken equipment. In my first week alone I was out almost $1,000. If I'd known this is what "compliance" actually costs, I would've found any other way. Avoid RoadGuard if you have any choice in the matter.
