Thank you for the kind words. Our natural finishes do work well with the types of materials you use for your creations. We do have the Gloss Finishing Cream that is low-odor, low VOC that you might also want to check out in the future.

Hi Marilyn, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. We're sorry to hear about your project but confident we can find a solution! We have seen this happen sparingly before, especially in areas with high concentrations of pine trees. Essentially, a specific pollen or dust settles onto the surface and causes the black coloring. What we recommend is cleaning with the following solution. This solution will help lift the color and kill any potential mold/mildew growth. We recommending mixing 1/2 cup of TSP (Tri-Sodium Phosphate) and 1/2 cup of Borax to 1 gallon of hot water. Stir the mixture until fully dissolved. Scrub affected surfaces and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. For preventive protection, this same mixture can be sprayed onto the surface and let dry.
