Warranty Process is Slow
Had a plumber install a Rheem water heater at a house. It had a malfunctioning gas ignition so it wouldn't stay lit and keep warm water. Had to have another plumber come over diagnose the issue, get the part via Rheem, and install it. Rheem had me pay out of pocket for plumber and agreed to reimburse me for the labor of the plumber within 4 to 8 weeks. I submitted all documentation (receipts, etc) and I'm now a little over 8 weeks still waiting for refund. Called them and they said their process is now 6 to 10 weeks for a warranty refund. Fingers crossed I get my refund in the next few weeks. Long time to wait for a reimbursement on a legitimate claim.
