well all I can say is, live suppot is a joke, 3 times I tried to simply download a manual for their 4 channel system that I just purchased from home depot ! haven't even tried hooking up to my router. I have not tried calling yet because I simply wanted a copy of the manual. live support on their website is a complete joke. sorry to say but... edit.. well I don't know how all these good reviews coming out. I still have yet to get them on their website. no response at all. edit again, well I finally got through and it ended up being that I bought a system from home depot that is not supported, or should I say,no updates,cannot zoom at all, none,why have a camera that can see 100 ft but no way to zoom in.stupid. so im stuck with it because I already hardwired my house. so now im out 100,s of dollars because I never dreamed that their dvr dosent even have a software that I can install to at least zoom in my already recorded vids. I would be very careful ordering. I was told I need 4 mp cameras by tech support now,what a ripoff. cant connect to my puter either or even just get a manual. this system is no good for any kind of distance recording. what a joke and an expensive lesson for actually trusting a company. so tech support did nothing but confirm I cant zoom. can you say moneymaker.

Good equipment. This is my second unit and it performs well. Customer service is excellent.

Good value and excellent bang for your buck. Features are also good. Support can be spotty especially during busy times.

I first purchased the RU41B4E-1T System to see how the quality and bang for my buck was before purchasing a higher end system from Revo. First impressions were outstanding! Came with everything I needed to get the install done and the final results were above my expectations in terms of overall satisfaction. So then I purchased the RU162B8E-2T System to expand on and the results were mixed with this purchase. The NVR and cameras were excellent quality and felt professional. However, the data cable that comes with typical systems like this are indeed fake, misadvertised, and/or misleading. The Cat 5e cables are not double shielded nor are they up to UL standards. They lack the number of twists and are made of stranded Aluminum!! The quality of this cable could damage or possibly degrade the overall performance of the system. My best advice would be to buy bulk bare copper Cat 6 or higher cabling and install it for the cameras and networking. Especially if it is PoE cameras like my system. The NVR and cameras are solid and basically your money is paying for that equipment alone. Everything else is courtesy equipment that they give you to get your system started. Use the best quality products with the NVR and cameras and they should go a long way for your return investment.

I am a member of the Home Depot Seeds program and I received the Revo wireless with 2 cameras. I had a heck of a time trying to get this to work, and I have 40 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN it AS A SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER. I believe that the documentation could be vastly improved at the very least. I called support and Adarius was assigned to assist. He went well out of his way to get me going on my phone connection, as well as assisting with setting me up on my home computer to be able to do Livestreaming. I am more that satisfied, even impressed, with the level of expertise in your support group.

I researched a few companies and I’m very glad I chose Revo!!! Excellent customer service. Excellent camera system and application. AAA+++

The set up was easy and simple. I had problems with getting the mobile app to connect for remote viewing. Contacted tech support who helped me check all the connections and set up a different port which now allows me to view the cameras from my phone anywhere. The service and quality of the cameras is great.
