Dear Tim Smith, I would like to personally apologize for the confusion and frustration you experienced with your recent purchase from Retro Gaming of Denver. We strive to provide a seamless shopping experience, and it is disheartening to hear that we fell short of your expectations. I appreciate your feedback and would like to address your concerns. Firstly, I apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the product you received. We understand that you believed you were purchasing a new Nintendo Switch OLED [Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Edition] console but received the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom [Collector's Edition] video game instead. We were willing to accept the return for the confusion; unfortunately, it came to our attention that you had already opened the retail packaging, which unfortunately means the item is no longer considered "New & Sealed." In such cases, we are unable to process a return for opened merchandise. I would also like to extend my sincerest apologies for any rudeness or questioning you experienced during your phone call. Our aim is always to provide excellent customer service, and I apologize if our representative's tone or choice of words came across as confrontational. We will address this matter internally to ensure that all our team members uphold the highest standards of professionalism and respect. In our product description, we clearly stated that the item you purchased was the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom [Collector's Edition] video game. The picture displayed on our website was intended to represent the game itself and did not depict the actual Nintendo Switch console or any remnants of a gaming console. We understand that this may have caused confusion, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Once again, I want to express my genuine apologies for the frustration and disappointment you've felt. We value you as a customer, and we appreciate the feedback you've provided. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to assist you and provide the best possible customer service. Sincerely, JD Roland Customer Relations Manager Retro Gaming of Denver
