My CV looks great and the customer service is top notch! RWG put together in a few days what I was trying to organize and structure for almost 2 weeks. It's great to have a long work history but not so great when you need to summarize it professionally. The RWG put it together for me and it presents my experience wonderfully!!!!

It is a disappointment that this place is even allowed to conduct business. In my opinion, they are rude, disrespectful, and downright unprofessional. There are many options out there, and I would recommend using one of those.

If you’re like me, and your reading this review you’ve spent a few weeks looking for a professional resume writing service, and I bet your mostly finding sites that want you to send the money now, with a “trust me” agreement, or the writing sites are highly questionable, all promising you that you will love your new resume. Personally, I wanted to have an exchange with my resume writer, explaining who I am in the professional world, and how he could make me shine a little more. I got lucky and found a “The Resume Writing Group”. I spoke with Ryan, the owner, and we talked about my background for a solid 45 minutes and then his writing specialist Ethan went to work, and his colleague Emily, started the rebuild of my LinkedIn page. Both the resume and the LinkedIn website were done in about a week’s time. Today, about two weeks later, I have 5 interviews and a few offers with base salaries higher than I've had in the past. This company has the blind leading the blind. They are amateurs posing as professionals: they have zero communications skills, are glacially slow, and flout a customer's needs. In the end, they take your money and run.

We appreciate the feedback from this customer. In every instance, we attempt to go above and beyond but sadly it simply isn't possible to please everyone. We'll lay out what we did for Raul and everyone can decide for themselves whether they think it was adequate or not: 1. The customer placed an order for a base-level resume on our website despite being a senior-level executive - no problem, we were happy to make that work for him. 2. The customer then requested he be allowed to send his information to us in the mail. That's not normally how clients send us info - most people email us their info or attach it on our website but we wanted to do what we could to help this client because he wasn't able to send the info electronically, but we specifically noted the project would take longer because the mail is slow... 3. The customer then called and emailed us complaining about the turnaround. We explained that we couldn't yet complete the project because the mail hadn't delivered his information yet. 4. We received the customer's information and let him know we had it and that we were working on the project. We provide a pre-resume proposal that outlines the expected edits and the standards we adhere to while drafting resumes. These are extremely standard requirements, things like "no more than 2 pages long" and "no more than 30 years of experience". During the process, every customer has the opportunity to request we go outside of the proposal. In this case, Raul never mentioned that anything in the proposal was unacceptable so we began work on the project. 5. We studiously scanned six pages of info combined with handwritten notes into our system and then proceeded to create the resume according to the sample the customer requested and the pre-resume proposal that the customer agreed to. 6. We sent the customer the resume and he wasn't able to find it in his email. No worries - we re-sent the file to him again and explained how to find it. 7. The customer messages us on Christmas Eve demanding that we call him immediately because he needs changes to the resume immediately and that if we can't accept these demands, he wants a full refund for the service. No problem, on Christmas Eve, we let him know we're happy to make revisions and he just needs to explain what he wants changed. 8. We then get another message from the customer that his work history from the 60s and 70s was eliminated and it's unacceptable that we didn't include it in the resume. We politely inform the customer that we strongly discourage including work history from 50+ years ago but that we can add it back into the resume if that's really what he wants. Rather than allowing us to make the changes, he then tells us there are numerous other issues with the resume... So, we let the customer know - okay - tell us what's wrong and we'll fix it but now he's telling us that he can't possibly send us a list of changes. If the customer wants to let us know what he doesn't like about the resume, we'll be happy to change it for him and help as best we can.
