Setting up each stream took a bit of effort the very first time (as it should). After that initial effort, starting a multi stream broadcast is as easy as clicking “start”! Love how easy it is to use Restream.io. Thanks!

Great: better price than what I was paying elsewhere, more features to use like the various background music selections, countdown timers, scrolling marquee, and ease of prescheduling a live stream. We also liked the stream performance email immediately following the stream. Cons: in the playback video stored on Restream and on YouTube, there are frame drops, so the video feed stalls every few moments. It almost appears to coordinate with when I click on viewer comments to display them on the screen. The post-stream performance email indicated no lost frames but that is not the case, though it is an improvement over the other company we used previously. Otherwise, this was a vast improvement in streaming performance over what we were previously getting elsewhere.

Thank you so much for sharing such detailed feedback; it's very helpful. If you experience what looks like frame drops and freezes in the future, please let us know via 24/7 Support Chat. We'd love to help you test before you go live and explore if small changes in your setup could improve the playback video for you and your audience. Your kind words mean so much to us. I love this app! I've been looking for a way to host a show through Facebook groups (not pages) and through my LinkedIn profile (not company page), and my YouTube channel and restream makes it so easy. The fact that I can link it once, and then go live multiple times is a godsend! I've been trlling everyone.

Terribly complicated to set up and use on LinkedIn. Totally bombed. Half the people never got the stream and only saw a waiting room in a pre-live state. The other half somehow got the stream and passed the link around in the chat. Comments were showing up in both places. After the event, a recording was available, but in a weird LinkedIn "event container" with a big "event canceled" banner on it. Totally confusing and broken.

We're genuinely sorry about the difficulties with your LinkedIn Live event and the confusion it caused. We aim to make streaming easy and enjoyable for both hosts and viewers. While it looks like some issues might be due to how LinkedIn handles and displays event status, we're eager to see how we can make things smoother on our side. If you're open to it, I'd love to hear your ideas on improving the Restream interface for your team's next event. Let's chat. Anya, Director of Product Marketing
