They recently made changes and convented my gift card balances into points which have a much lower value. They no longer display my gift cards on their platform and have not responded to my emails requesting an accounting of how they determined the points. In effect, they stole my money. I am curious if others have experienced this. I see a class action law suit on the horizon.

Sold me a certificate, went to the restaurant and tried to use it. They said they have no such deal with this company which the restaurant owner and manager confirmed. They said unfortunately I was scammed. I wrote to restaurant.com and they told me they will not give me my money back because they said somewhere on the fine print that they don't have to. Absolute scam!

Restaurant.com is a complete scam. They will sell you certificates that won't be accepted at the restaurant. None of the restaurants I have certificates for have ever heard of the company and all deny signing up with them. This is a scam. Don't waste your money.

They are selling coupons and marketing them as Gift Certificates! In order to use a $25 "gift certificate", you must spend $50. That's a coupon. It's false advertising.

I paid for a $100 gift card from restaurant.com. I never received the card despite having my cc charged immediately. I called/emailed 5 times to their customer service after two weeks of hearing nothing. I was told numerous times my case was being "escalated to customer service for review and would be notified their findings in 24-48hrs. I went throug 5 cycles of that never hearing anything from their end. Finally I gave up and filed a dispute with my credit card company who investigated and within 48hrs refunded my money. Restaurant.com is nothing but a scam as far as I'm concerned.

A SCAM> My wife went on the website (3/27/24) to activate the card . Two minutes later we got a fraud alert from our credit card that someone purchased video games and that the card was flagged, then they tried to make another purchase & was declined. We had to cancel the card and now await a new one. A bad experience.
