I was about to place my order when I saw the extra charge for “protected delivery.” Does that mean if I don’t pay for extra insurance they will not stand behind their product if it is damaged or lost in shipping? I chose not to do business with a company that would either make their customer responsible for undelivered purchases, or if that isn’t the case, they are pushing an insurance product that isn’t needed, for their own purposes. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Hi Alice, Thank you for raising this concern. Order Protection is completely optional and is mainly designed to provide added coverage for situations such as theft or a package going missing after it has already been successfully delivered to the address provided. If something happens during transit or there is an issue with the delivery itself, our team will still review and assist with the situation. We also continue to stand behind our products with our 30-day guarantee. Order Protection simply provides an additional layer of support, with eligible claims able to be handled directly through the protection provider.
