Very disappointing experience from move-in through move-out. The house was in suboptimal condition when we received it, no one attended a proper move-in walkthrough, and we had to stay in a hotel for about a week while multiple issues were addressed. At move-out, however, ResiHome performed a detailed inspection and charged us for numerous items. After I disputed the deductions, they reversed more than $575 in charges, yet still kept hundreds of dollars from our security deposit. They also declined to provide receipts or invoices for the remaining disputed charges. One example was a refrigerator filter that was already not working properly. Because we tolerated the issue and did not request replacement, they later charged us for it at move-out. The contrast was striking: minimal involvement when we moved into a house with multiple issues, but extensive scrutiny and charges when we left. I would not rent from ResiHome again and cannot recommend them.

This company is a disgrace and regularly scams tenants out of their deposits with no intention to fix what they name is wrong with the property upon move out, and then using what was named as in need of repair to scam more tenants. I’m glad to be rid of this miserable company.

Sadly the last few weeks been disappointing , the hot water heater line leak throughout the house for 2 days before they came, still leaks now then 2 weeks later they send 2 separate guys they miss communicate they fix wrong line, mildew has grow up I’m a 100% disabled vet and my son fights everyday dealing with his blood disorder we haven’t had hot water in a month and a warm bath helps soothe his pain. I just want you all to know good people but bad decision's they can make things right they haven’t communicated at all I have to reach out after they go ghost for a few days. Lovely home in a great neighborhood. I spoke highly of the company to the HOA because they expressed that companies that rent out typically don’t take care the property but I guess they fit in with them all.

1 star – Nearly two years of defects, failed repairs and a complete lack of accountability My experience with ReSI Homes has been absolutely appalling. I purchased a shared-ownership new-build expecting a properly constructed home. Instead, I have spent almost two years dealing with serious defects, repeated heating and hot water failures, countless contractor attendances and major flooring remedial works that failed again within weeks. Our family was even required to leave our home for approximately three weeks while the flooring works were carried out, only for the same problems to return shortly after we moved back in. The ASHP has been another ongoing nightmare. After around 24 engineer attendances, the system continues to fail, and a leaking heat pump has now been identified as the cause of recurring pressure loss. Despite this, we have been left waiting for quotations and repairs while going without reliable heating and hot water. What makes this experience even worse is the complaint handling. Promised updates are missed, emails go unanswered, and getting a clear decision or confirmed plan often feels like an achievement in itself. Even after escalating matters to senior management, I have repeatedly had to chase for basic answers. ReSI Homes has now offered compensation, but compensation does not fix a defective home. The underlying problems still need to be resolved properly, and residents should not have to fight this hard to get their landlord to take ownership of serious, ongoing defects. This has caused enormous stress, disruption and frustration for my family. We bought a home, not a two-year project involving endless contractors, repeated failures and complaint after complaint. The biggest question is: what is the point of a complaints process if residents are still left chasing answers and living with unresolved defects after all this time? In my experience, ReSI Homes has demonstrated a serious lack of coordination, communication and accountability. I would strongly advise anyone considering a shared-ownership property managed by ReSI Homes to research the company carefully and understand how repairs and complaints are handled. One star, because zero isn’t an option

⭐️ 1 STAR — IF I COULD GIVE ZERO, I WOULD. RESIHOME, THIS ONE’S FOR YOU. If you’re considering renting from ResiHome, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. And before anyone says, “You should have documented everything,” don’t worry I DID. I am attaching ALL MY PHOTOS documenting the condition of the property because apparently I needed a photographic paper trail just to prove what I experienced as a tenant. The home was not move-in ready. We had to deal with cleaning and exterior maintenance issues that should have been handled BEFORE handing the property over to a new tenant. There were issues from the beginning, and I communicated them. Fast-forward to move-out, and suddenly I’m dealing with charges and deductions for things I dispute and conditions I had already documented. And the accounting? An absolute mess. Charges have been added, removed, reversed, reposted, credited, and moved around the ledger in ways that have required me to repeatedly ask for explanations. I’ve had to spend an unreasonable amount of time trying to understand what this company is charging me for and why. I paid $1,214.60 toward a disputed balance, and somehow I’m STILL having to chase down answers about my account and security deposit. The amount of time and energy I’ve had to waste trying to get a straight answer is ridiculous. Here’s my advice to anyone considering ResiHome: Photograph EVERYTHING. Video EVERYTHING. Put EVERYTHING in writing. Save EVERY receipt. Screenshot your entire account history. Document the condition of the property before you even bring your first box inside. Because based on my experience, you may very well need that evidence later. And that’s exactly why I’m posting these photos. I’m not asking anyone to take my word for it. Look at the pictures. Look at the condition of the property. Look at the exterior. Look at what we walked into. Then decide for yourself whether this looks like a property that was properly prepared for a new tenant. My experience with ResiHome has left me feeling like I had to fight to be heard, fight to get explanations, and fight to make sure the documentation actually reflected reality. Renting a home should not feel like you’re preparing for a fu**ing court case. Would I rent from ResiHome again? Absolutely not. And after this experience, my advice to prospective tenants is simple: READ EVERYTHING. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. TRUST NOTHING TO “WE’LL TAKE CARE OF IT.” Because when it’s time to move out, your pictures and your paperwork may be the only things speaking for you. All photos attached. You be the judge. Amazing company! Gorgeous townhomes!

The leasing process was extremely easy and my new home is beautiful. Looking forward to staying with Resihome for a while until I’m ready to buy.
