Googled for deals on a specific Choice Hotels property. My own fault that I didn't notice they had a "choice hotels" subdomain on reservationstays.com ... I thought I was dealing with the real hotel. Anyway, they did book my 3 nights at the hotel but when I arrived they didn't have the room I requested. All along I thought Choice Hotels had screwed up. In fact, Choice Hotels refunded me the rate difference but I am currently fighting with reservationstays.com AKA snaptravel.com to get that credit forwarded to my card.

I am out $180 for the same reason that other users on here stated. When I made the reservation there was a calendar that I chose the dates on. But, there were date fields below that did not auto-populate to the dates I chose. I have wasted about 2 hours trying to get my money back. I was assured by the hotel, even given a cancellation confirmation number. But nobody will do anything about it. ALWAYS MAKE RESERVATIONS DIRECTLY THROUGH THE HOTEL!

This is a scam. They would not give me a hotel confirmation code. I attempted to call the hotel multiple times and they did not have my reservation. When I filed a chargeback with my credit card company, they sided with Reservation Stays, saying they provided enough evidence. DO NOT USE.

reservationstays.com AKA Snaptravel. I booked with Suncadia Resort, and receipt showed wrong date of same night booked, I called and they would not give refund. Scam site. You can see it's happened to many others on review sites. They should not have a merchant account. And hotels should not use this company for bookings. Having to fight dispute with bank b/c scam company is trying to rip me off like they have many others.

SCAM This was the number that came up first when I googled Novotel South Warf Hotel. I genuinely thought I was speaking to the Novotel Reception. I had a few red flags. eg the price of the room was much cheaper than expected. The initially said the hotel was booked out and then there were 2 rooms available. they included a shuttle bus and breakfast for only a few dollars. They did not seem to know much about the location of the hotel. I had already given my Credit card details when I googled to see if it was a scam. I hung up and blocked my card immediately, but I'm worried its too late.

1 Star is even too much for this company. I thought I was dealing with Quality Hotel but I guess the link brought me to reservation stays. I booked 3 rooms at once, was told one price but charged another. They charged me different rates for the same rooms, I didn't get the rooms I reserved (booked king and got a double) and when you try calling customer service, after 2 hours nothing at all gets resolved. They keep apologizing but never resolve the issue. I emailed the company and was told the case is closed and there's nothing they can do. Who closed the case?? NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. They're fraudulent, deceiving and not willing to fix errors that THEY MAKE.

The website booked dates that I did not enter. I called the toll free number and reported the error and they offered absolutely no help. I called them within 15 minutes and offered to rebook the correct dates. I think these are scammers.

Avoid like the plague. The hotel I booked through this website was absolutely amazing so no problems with that. The issue started when we went for our breakfast which was included in the deal to be told that they stopped serving breakfast when the covid pandemic started. I sent an email and called the reservations. Over the phone and via email, I was told that they will check with the hotel and offer compensation for the breakfast. A week later I replied to the email asking for an update. I got no response. I called them a week later from the uk. I spent 45 minutes trying to speak to customer services. Again I was told they would compensate me. I was sent an email later on to confirm that I would be compensated but no amount was stated. I emailed asking how much was the compensation but again got no response. I have called again a week later today, to ask the question about the compensation to be told that they have processed the compensation. I asked how much was the compensation. I was told that it was €50 dollars. 50 dollars compensation for breakfast for 2 mornings for 4 people is absolutely ridiculous. It works out to €6.25 for breakfast per person. To put that into context, the hotel sent us to a restaurant next door with a voucher for €20 for breakfast which cost €80 dollars for 2 people. Our breakfast consisted of two omelette, two rye toast and two coffees. This has made the compensation feel like a slap on the face. If breakfast was not included, I would not mind. However it was but according to the hotel, they stopped doing breakfast two years ago. It feels like they are selling the rooms with breakfast and if someone complains offering a €25 dollars per night compensation irrespective of the number of people booked. We had a 4 person suite.
