When trying to reserve a room at Ramada in Helena MT, somehow this organization got into our attempt to reserve directly on the Remada website and a reservation was made through them at 1:00AM. It was intended to be for immediate checkin but it showed up as for the following evening. When arriving at the hotel, they could not accept the reservation as it was and cancelled it for us. I then paid Remada directly. This reservationstays organization demanded an email from the hotel that there was a cancellation with no penalty. The hotel says that this was abnormal and said the cancellation was sufficient. Repeated communication with reservationstays brought a refusal for a refund so I paid $123 for a reservation that did not result in a stay. This organization represents a scam!

Be aware. They gave me the option to buy "insurance" for an extra $3/day so that it would allow me to cancel or make changes anytime. Then, when I went to use it, it was no longer there. They didn't include it in my invoice, when I had paid for it. When I purchased my stay (for about $1,300 by the way) they said I had until Aug 19th to make changes. I thought this would be enough, because it would mean I was already at the hotel 2 days, and could see if I needed it longer. But when I check the invoice, they changed it to August 12th (which was the day I purchased it!)I wouldn't have purchased it with that date being the last time I can make changes! I need to fly home sooner, and now I can't do anything to get a refund for the last two days. Their email says they are closing the tab because it's been resolved, when it hasn't. Their phone number is bogus. Doesn't work.

I accidently booked a reservation on the wrong day with these people, they refused to help and/or modify the reservation. To boot I got COVID and they refused to do anything about it. They took my money for a stay that I never used and kept my $79.00 for nothing. The credit card company refused to help me also. Do not book with these people.

This is a fraudulent website. It will walk you through the reservation and will make you feel like you are making reservation through the authentic website and once you click submit your reservation it will even give you a confirmation and will tell you that you can not make any cancellations or changes to your reservation. But most of the hotel websites never tell you this BS. I have just make a reservation and as soon as clicked submit it took my money out right away ($478) and when I tried to contact the hotel they said that they do not recognize the confirmation number. They are big tugs. Beware of these tugs. They will give you a email address and if you write a email they will never respond. Also if you try to call them you will never be able to talk to a person.

Scam. Lost 2 days of Hotel Indigo. No one to call or complain to. Making life harder one booking at a time. No refunds. No compromise. Stick to paying extra at hotel website, more accountability. GLTA.

Made a reservation for 1 night at Holiday Inn Express and was quoted a price that was bogus. Reservation Stay took $65 fee but none if I Holiday Inn Express directly without disclosure. Their "customer service" is also bogus: could hardly hear them, or understand them, and when I sent an email as directed they did not reply. Absolutely horrible organization!

Reservationstay.com is a total scam. I thought I was reserving a room for a two night stay at the Country Inn and Suites in Grand Forks, ND. The price advertised was the bait and it was nonrefundable. Once the reservation was made, there was a line item for a tip and the taxes etc. were 3 times what it should have been. I thought the reservation was made through the Country Inn and Suites Hotel, but when checking in, it was apparently made through a Reservationstay (third party) Never use this dishonest website, Call the hotel directly and save money!

Reservationstays.com is a scam. Four months ago, I clicked on an online ad made to look like the legit hotel company's ad (yes, I fell for it). After calling and making a reservation with someone who struggled to understand me and get the information in, I had a bad feeling and decided to cancel. When I called back (within the hour), I was told the reservation was non-refundable and they hung up. Tried again twice, no answer. Third time, was again told it was non-refundable. I told them I was reporting this as fraud to my credit card company. They hung up. I called my credit card company and was able to shut the card down before anything was charged. Fast forward to today, when I found a confirmation for our upcoming trip in my spam folder for the reservationstays.com reservation. I called the hotel directly and they said I did indeed have a reservation through Booking.com that they could not cancel. Sooo....it looks to me like reservationstays.com is taking info by phone and making reservations in the caller's name on legit sites like Booking.com. Since customers don't know this, they end up caught in an impossible loop with a clueless hotel and a scammy third-party company. Fortunately, when I told the hotel rep what had happened (and that my card had been canceled and there would be no reimbursement coming for the Booking.com reservation in my name), they overrode the "No cancelling third-party reservations" policy and cancelled my stay. Be careful out there. Caveat Emptor!
