I always check ResellerRatings before making a first purchase from any company. Most of the time there are reviews, and if they are bad for an online store, I will shop elsewhere. Very glad that this site exists - I tell others about it often.

I regularly use this site to check places before I buy from unknown sites. It is a great way to be sure you're not buying poor quality or worse, from a scam. If I could have this automatically display a rating whenever I visited a site, I would.

The site was established more than 15 years ago so it's no wonder to us that their pricing has changed over the years. Their rates are ridiculously low for the value. Consider how few customers you have to lose before their fee makes sense, 2? 10? Remember why you use them, to convince shoppers to buy. So it doesn't take the loss of many customers to make up for their monthly rate. Anyone here who is complaining: you're a business, they're a business, we're all here to make money. Stop whining! As far as other options out there? ResellerRatings even offers both product reviews and a Q&A engine now. No one else has those features and brand reviews. We expect to be with them for many more years.
