I have spent 20k with Reputation Defender so far. I have seen NO results and it's been over a year. Completely disappointed, feel scammed. Lots of excuses, very little follow-up. Constantly trying to increase my "plan", i.e. spend more hard earned money. Will never ever do business with these folks again, and will pursue BBB and legal action at this point.

Overall, pretty good and worth the money. I was reassured a couple of weeks ago because my Privacy Director (is that the title?) touched base with me.

I found this company to be very ineffective in countering anonymous hate or harassment web sites. Their operation consists of publishing web articles and posts in a attempt to decrease the prominence of unfavorable or untrue articles or posts about you (the potential customer). Unfortunately if the unfavorable/untrue post is on a heavily trafficked site this is very difficult to overcome in most search engines. The company's controlled web sites are often seen by google and other search engines as less reliable or high ranking since they are a commercial business who's goal is to promote the manufactured posts made by this firm on your behalf. For $10000 you would be far happier just to accept that the internet is a bad place and keep your money. This tactic may be effective if you have a million dollars to spend. If you have that much money there are more effective ways to identify the anonymous poster attacking you. That is probably the only effective method of stoping or removing false negative posts. Unfortunately without access to high level computer people this is nearly impossible. Some of the identification methods may also be technically illegal or questionable so it takes big money and effort. My personal experience is that the unfavorable posts are never taken down and gradually become less prominent with time so the best use of that money is to take a lot of deep breaths, get many good dinners and lunches. You will overall come out ahead that way rather than spending $10000 which I did.

Very disappointed with Danny Turner / Thompson (they use aliases) The lack of response to issues I had raised with him over a twelve month period has been awful at best. The only thing this company has done well and in a timely manner is to engage in high pressure sales campaigns with me to try and keep me signing up for new contracts, three - four months before a current contract expires. I just don't understand this business model. I am still waiting for a significant number of errors on the sites they have created for me over the past three years to be corrected. 4/21/2022 A Senior Manager from the company has in fact reached out to me and has promised steps will be taken to go the extra mile to address my concerns. I do appreciate the professionalism displayed in his response, and I will most certainly provide them the opportunity to make tings right. I am cautiously optimistic; however, I do believe he was/is sincere. Yorick (my current advisor) has always upheld the highest standards of professionalism since we bagan working together and he is again assigned to my account as is Patrick the Senior Manager that called me on 4/20/2022. I am hoping for a positive relationship and positive results moving forward. Issues such as mine don't get fixed overnight. From what I understand, they are actively working on my account.

Nick went out of his way to provide help, even flagging a negative comment written by an anonymous source during our initial phone consultation. It's good to have someone like Nick in your corner.

Caleb Lash and the team have been there for me from the beginning since the day I signed up with Reputation Defender. Wherever I have any questions or concerns, Caleb is prompt to respond and provide the information or explanation I need. The writing team is doing an excellent job of creating material for me. I look forward to the positive results of this campaign!
