Selling? Don't bother with Replacements, Ltd. You'd do better on eBay (where they also sell, btw) or Facebook Marketplace. They pay less than pennies on the dollar, and quite frankly, what they pay for an item vs. what they sell it for is insulting. Example: they are selling a Mikasa Imperial Lapis salt and pepper shaker for $190; but they're offering us only $3 to buy it. And it's never been out of the box in which Mikasa shipped it. It's the same with every item - they're selling items for $50-$70 but paying only $1-$2 to purchase the item. No thanks. I'll continue to keep the items myself.

Beware - dishonest sellers of knock offs
Beware. I thought i was buying replacement spoons for my Towle London Shell stainless pattern - the spoons that arrived were clearly not the same - duller, slightly different shape both in the bowl, handle, and design, and weighing 8-9 grams less per spoon. The company claimed there were different spoons made for the same pattern - but there was no marking at all on the back of the spoons, as there are on the real ones. And despite that they claimed no fault and wouldn't pay for return shipping. Some AG ought to investigate these false advertising/false claims shoddy shady business practices. NEVER AGAIN.

Poor return policy
I ordered several pieces from them and one was a knock off- they refunded the cost but did not adjust shipping . They wasted my time and money in additional shipping costs. They are too well established to be cheating customers this way.

This place is a scam
This place is a scam. They offered to pay me $29 for my Blue Willow 18" platter. They would then turn around and sell that platter for $229.95. My mother's Blue Willow dishes were the ones at grocery stores in the 1990s that people could purchase using the stamps that they gave out when you spent a certain amount. She didn't buy any more dishes after they stopped offering that program. Replacements claimed that my dishes were from a different pattern, and offered me $31.48 for the other 68 pieces. I replied to their email that, while I appreciated their offer, I would be returning to their store (it's a 5-hour drive one-way from Charleston, SC) to pick up my mom's dishes. I received a snarky email in return that I would need to wait 15 days to schedule an appointment to come pick up the dishes.
I drove back up to Greensboro, they gave me the dishes, and came out to the parking lot to see what I was doing while I checked each piece to ensure it was in good condition. They wrapped several pieces stacked together, which would practically guarantee my mom's dishes would shatter on the 5-hour drive home. Each piece also had a price sticker that was difficult to remove. Then, some lady who was selling to them, an employee, or a family member/friend of an employee, harassed me about the video I was making to show how poorly they were packed. I know my platform is only big enough for me to stand on one foot at a time, but when businesses treat people this way, other people who may do business with them in the future deserve to know.
At that point, I asked to speak to a supervisor because I don't appreciate being harassed by anyone. Whether she was an employee or not, they're responsible for her behavior while she is on their property. The supervisor, Cory (sp?), told me he would pass on my concerns. I even sent a "contact us" form on their website. I have heard nothing.
I also heartily disagree with the way that they handle the process of sellers dropping off merchandise. You drop them off and have to trust them with your items. I honestly wonder now (because of other reviews I've read) whether they even gave me back my mom's actual dishes or switched them out for a cheaper Blue Willow set.
This business concept is incredible, and I knew someone a long time ago who raved about this place. I even purchased a plate from them in 2009 after I cracked one of my abusive ex-mother-in-law's everyday use dishes. It was almost $50 for one Pier 1 plate.
I regret pressing the "easy button" on getting an offer from them and going through that whole process. I should've just listed everything on various sales sites and sold them that way.

I've lost confidence in buying from them
I've been a loyal customer and have placed multiple orders with Replacements, which makes this review especially disappointing.
Recently, almost every order has had issues—missing items, broken pieces, incorrect items, and extremely slow customer service. Even getting photos from the image department has been unnecessarily difficult.
The worst experience was receiving the wrong item. I was initially told the correct replacement would be sent at no extra cost. However, after the item's price increased from $259 to $299, I was asked to purchase it again. While I can't say why, the timing certainly raises concerns.
For a company selling collectible and expensive items, this level of quality control and customer service is simply unacceptable. After so many repeated issues, I've lost confidence in buying from them.

I tried to return dishware that I didn't like. Went to FedEx and they told me I needed a return form and this company wouldn't allow it. They wanted 33.00 for shipping on a 43.00 purchase, Company stinks! I'm stuck with it!!

Had to pay return shipping for substandard merchandise
We ordered 4 bowls (Villeroy and Bosch's Petite Fleur pattern). They arrived with distasteful rust stains. We had to pay $32 to ship the merchandise back in order to receive a refund. (I assume/hope we'll receive our refund!) When a company insists you pay return shipping for substandard merchandise, how can you trust them? What motivation do they have to NOT send substandard merchandise? I would never again purchase from Replacements.com and I have unsubscribed from their marketing emails.
