Don’t waste your time with RepairClinic
Don’t waste your time with this company. There are plenty of other options on the internet. I went with them because their shipping policy states that in-stock items ship the same day they are ordered. I needed my $16 part kind of quickly so that sounded good to me, and they were supposedly shipping via USPS Priority, which cost $12, but that would mean I’d get my part in a few days. I did get a shipping confirmation email the day I ordered but the button for tracking info didn’t work and when I looked up my order on their website there was no tracking # there either. I didn’t worry too much about it and figured it was a glitch and my part would just arrive in the mail in a few days. I waited a full week, still hadn’t received my part, and still didn’t have a tracking number. I tried reaching out to customer service. What a joke. No one was answering the phone and I selected the option for a call back and decided to send an email too. I got the call back three days later, along with an email response. The email sent me a tracking number, but it only showed me that a shipping label was created…which means USPS still did not have the package. I emailed customer service again, and they argued with me and told me “Please, rest assured, your package has shipped out. It is on a bulk shipment to a central sort facility to distribute to other postal facilities. Once your package gets to your locale, your Post Office will place the tracking label on it then schedule it to go out with your mail carrier. If not delivered to you by 6/12/26, please reach out and we will be able to send out a replacement or process an order refund”. My order was placed on 5/24 so 6/12 would be 20 days after I placed the order! I let customer service know I wasn’t happy and tried to tell them that a tracking status of “shipping label created” meant the package still wasn’t en route and they said “USPS does have this part as it was shipped out. The tracking will not update until it in your area out for delivery. USPS Priority shipping is not the same as if you were to use Priority with the post office as ours ships in bulk as a business and can take up to 20 days for delivery.” At that point I disputed the charge with my credit card and surprisingly they refunded me immediately. Maybe the dispute was resolved quickly because the low cost ($34). I also wonder if they have had enough previous disputes raised with RepairClinic that it was just automatically approved? I received the part 15 days after I placed the order. It arrived with a “USPS Ground Advantage” sticker on it (NOT USPS Priority) and the return address said “Returns Dept., Repairclinic.com” The part appeared to be new but with this company, who knows?!
