Great experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices are fair, and I really appreciated the personal attention. I would definitely rent from them again!

I have no complaints after my rental, it was a seamless experience during pick up and same thing for drop off time. Agents were friendly to me and my family, I'd definitely come back

Avoid Stride Rent a Car at Tampa (TPA). Pickup took 40 minutes. Nobody answers their phone, and even their shuttle driver told us they never pick up. The Nissan Sentra had damage all over, and I had to mark it up myself and record the mileage and fuel. The night before my return, they emailed to say that because they don't open until 9 AM, I'd owe an extra $130 + tax "VIP" fee for an after-hours return. I couldn't reach anyone to confirm it, so I followed their instructions exactly. I filled the tank to full 13 miles before drop-off and left the car in the TPA Economy garage at 7:55 AM on 10/18 with 30,546 miles on it. I have photos of the full gauge and the parking ticket. They still charged me a $21.47 fuel surcharge. When I finally reached a Stride agent, he confirmed on a recorded call that he could see the tank was full and didn't understand why I'd been sent the fee email. Surprise fees, nobody to talk to, and a fuel charge on a full tank. I'm disputing the entire charge. Future renters: rent from a company with a real counter at the terminal.

Horrible experience! Shuttle bus wait of 46 minutes. I was forced to pay under duress 3 times as much after paying priceline at the pickup because of a fee for their insurance "to connect" to mine, although I had my declaration page for full coverage, then the return location was completely different address Priceline gave! The car I was supposed to get was bloked in, and the car they gave me instead stunk of marijuana.

Worst car rental experience ever. Drip and predatory pricing. They will not honor that get you in the door price no matter what insurance is provided. They said insurance provided was not adequate (it was) and charged an extra $30 a day not for their insurance but for waiver to accept my own insurance which they said had too high a deductible. They will find any excuse or hidden extra fees to be the same price (or higher) than a reputable rental car company that's actually on site at the airport. They gave me a car with expired registration and since was paying almost 10x what was originally agreed and contracted, told them to just cancel entire reservation and pick up the car. They refused to cancel or pick up vehicle and said I would be charged for entire rental. Explained car is not legal to drive or return, they didn't care. Ultimately they had no choice to remedy having a car out with expired registration, picked up the car and refunded after I initiated a credit card dispute. Then of course got additional charges on card after car was returned, impossible to get anyone on the phone to ask what charge was for. Maybe it was gas for the 12 miles I drove and whatever additional miles they racked up driving it back. Bottom line, pay they extra $20 bucks a day to book somewhere reputable that's actually on airport as Zoom/Stride/Switch or whatever shell name they are using that day will not honor that cheap teaser rate just to get you in the door and after the hour shuttle to get there you will be too tired and desperate to argue.
