Really bad experience with these folks
Really bad experience with these folks. They kept giving me the runaround with regards to required documentation. They would ask for something, I would send it and then they would ask for it again. Their processing side seems like it's in complete disarray. Once I went through their whole approval process, they sent the loan application on to the lender who required additional documentation as well as a different amount of cash in reserves. The kicker of it all was that the interest rate I was offered was 2 points higher than an unsecured personal loan. They also require a 2% brokers fee which I probably should have figured but it surprised me when it came through on my loan application. I would suggest finding other routes to finance a renovation if possible.
