Josh was incredibly helpful, taking the time to clearly explain the HELOC process and the necessary documentation to HELOC approved. He remained readily available for all my questions. Really bad experience with these folks. They kept giving me the runaround with regards to required documentation. They would ask for something, I would send it and then they would ask for it again. Their processing side seems like it's in complete disarray. Once I went through their whole approval process, they sent the loan application on to the lender who required additional documentation as well as a different amount of cash in reserves. The kicker of it all was that the interest rate I was offered was 2 points higher than an unsecured personal loan. They also require a 2% brokers fee which I probably should have figured but it surprised me when it came through on my loan application. I would suggest finding other routes to finance a renovation if possible.

We had a good experience working with Renofi on our home reno finance needs. There were some delays with bank, but working with Josh Kelley made all the difference. He was very professional and communicative and was great to work with.
