The staff are friendly and I get a fast reply of my messages and phone calls are always handled quickly. Unfortunately it’s very expensive to be a female after 50. When I started seeing signs of PCOS or alopecia in 2015 after I took a selfie I got very worried. The hot flashes started in approx 2013. During the 2019/20 pandemic my colleague Karla told me about HRT. My main concern was getting relief from hot flashes so I could sleep at night and function at work, my 2nd priority was my male bald pattern alopecia. Having a good libido was never an issue and not my purpose for wanting HRT. After HRT with Renew Youth , the hot flashes stopped but appeared that the alopecia worsened. I was prescribed Minoxidil w/ biotin capsules for $120 as well as a DHT blocker through Scripps and that was mighty expensive too. My expenses with Renew Youth have increased since I started a few years ago. For some reason I thought that the alopecia would help through hormone balancing like HRT but it does not. I had 2 different doctors with Renew Youth. It was not until I had my telemedicine doctor appt with my 2nd doctor that she realized that I was super frustrated and had lots of anxiety about my PCOS / alopecia and so she”s deciding to get the Testastrone topical cream mg lowered. I had no idea I had a lab test slip waiting to print since a month ago on my Renew Youth dash board for an interim Testastrone blood test because I did not get notice about the lab slip through text or email. Thank god I still have my full time job so I could pay for the prescriptions that keep getting added , the numerous lab testing each year and the doctor appointments. I live in Los Angeles and the cost of living is sky high, my job wages are low and I have high stress. I work 2nd shift and it disrupts my sleeping pattern and so to help lower the cost of my female body maintenance just a bit I found the same high quality DHT blocker with all the same ingredients else where & will order it as soon I”m done with the expensive Scripts version and also started eating more red meat and taking Standard Process iron which has VItC for absorption because my ferritin was low on my last lab test and I don’t want to buy more prescriptions for my ferritin deficiency. Through research I found that low ferritin also contributes to hair loss. I also do cardio and do muscle strengthening work outs to help with stress a bit.
