I had heart failure and was in the hospital for 3 weeks and Regions would not reverse my overdraft fees totaling $136 at all. I was shocked. I mean, yes, it is my fault, but I thought they would have some flexibility since every other credit card and bank that I use all helped me out a little EXCEPT Regions. Live and learn. I will never use Regions Bank again. I'm very disappointed. I have a made a full recovery now though and looking forward to the rest of my life.

If I could leave no stars I would. I’ve been banking with them since I 2008 and 2025 they sent my ex-husband a card in his name linked to my account after he had been removed off my account for 2 years they had my divorce papers and he had sighed papers stating that he no long had rights to my money. It took them 3 weeks to get me my money back and my ex didn’t get any jail time because the bank sent the card in his name. Then I had to open a new account now they are holding a check wrote to me by my insurance company for 13 days. I do not recommend this bank. All the branches are the same

Back in the late 90s, the Regions Bank located in Lafayette, LA forced me into bankruptcy. After all those years, they have begun sending me offers in the mail to do business with them. Not even a remote chance will I consider that. After reading all of the negative reviews about them, I see they haven't changed one bit; they are still the biggest crooks in banking.

Regions mortgage is the absolute worse and does not care about the customer at all. They marked my credit with two late payments which is not accurate at all. We split one payment in half and the lady said it was okay to do. Never ever did she say oh this will count as two missed payments on your credit. And when you call to dispute this they are just rude and then provide you some number to some $1 scammy company. Absolute joke of a bank. Thanks for nothing regions.

Regions refused to notarize a document for me and my wife because my wife's name was not on my account. They only notarize for customers.

This is the absolute WORST bank in Financial History. They only way this bank is still in business is by stealing and scamming their clients. They work along side corrupt contractors, funding their crimes. Oh, and their customer services hours are TERRIBLE. You literally have to work around their schedules. So 1950's of them.

It's not surprising to see such horrible reviews. This is one of the worst banks that I have ever worked with. I was traveling abroad and two of my cards were stolen. They told me that they were sending the cards to my address in another country and they never did. I constantly followed up for weeks and they kept assuring me that the card was being shipped. Turns out that was a lie. They never shipped the card whatsoever. Then they told me that they couldn't ship the card to another country so I said fine, send it to my address and I will get the card shipped to where I'm located. At that time they sent me an email saying that they were gonna close down my account if I didn't verify my address using a utility bill so that was an issue then to top it off my credit card stopped working but only for transactions that required me to take money out so now I'm in another country with no cards and I can't take money out. They had me running around to multiple in the city, when they were well aware that something was wrong on their end I spent hundreds of dollars because I kept having to contact them to try to resolve the problem which she never resolved Chat support is absolutely horrible. Representatives are lazy, unprofessional, incompetent, and rude. I've spent hours probably at least 50 hours dealing with my issues and you guessed it. There's been no resolution. They are absolutely horrible and I do not recommend them.
