The stem cell procedure worked well for about 2 years, then not so much.

I personally would have done it in Melbourne where they spin the cells longer to accumulate more but I did not have money for that. Nor did I have money to get both hips done as I needed but I thought the procedure went well. Although it took me longer than it should for me to walk without crutches after the procedure. I ended up getting into water aerobics in order to walk without an assistive device and I was 30 yrs old. I'm now 34. PRAYER WORKS!!. I don't have stiffness in the morning. I don't hear popping of my hip or have pain as much unless I walk for a long period of time for example:"around the entire Disneyland theme park" or just touring in New York City. I drink essiac tea which is good for healing one's body including joints as the head of my femur was collapsed before undergoing the procedure and as my orthopedic doctor has said looks worse now but since I'm not having any acute discomfort he has released me to go back to doing my regular job which entails walking up and down an emergency room helping others as a RN. I would it again as I need my other hip done I'd prefer to go to Melbourne if i was blessed with the opportunity to afford the entire trip as well as get both hips done. I have been diagnosed with "avascular neceosis of both hips" which is due to having chemotherapy as a result of my "Hodgkin lymphoma" when I as 19. I have to truly say "it is all by the Grace of God" that I'm able to walk without discomfort now.

The torn meniscus in my knee responded very well from the stem cell treatments and doesn't give me any problems, I think I would have recovered quicker from the hip stem cell injections if I would have had therapeutic massage treatments to help the muscles in the area recover better. I am having it done now a year later and am realizing good results.

It has been almost 2 years since my Regenexx procedure. It has for the most part been great with a few minor problems. i bit of an ache in the AM and a Baker's Cyst still appearing under my knee. I can walk without noticeable pain but their questionare that they send need some adjusting. Quite a few of the questions must be for star athletes. all in all a good experience that needs some tweaking. R. romagni

The experience was good, BUT the results one year later are NOT. Maybe I was just too old (69) for the stem cells to be effective. It was a mistake for me. In retrospect I should have saved the several thousand dollars in cash. I would not do it again. However, I do think their is a bright future in stem cells.

My ankle pain has subsided by 50%. I wish it would be better. But it's better than nothing.

i have had a back procedure and knee procedure . It seems to last for a whlie and then back to the pain i experienced before i had the procedure. Cannot afford a procedure a year. Frustrating.

Procedure went well. Pain not too bad during. However, the pain about 12 hours after the main procedure was far more intense than expected. Rehab went well and it's been two years since the stem cell hip therapy. It seems to be wearing off now. Pain is starting to return. Not sure the cost is worth the two years I got out of it. Although, I am very active and walk an average of 4-6 miles a day and some days double. I am 52 now.
