It has been 18 months since Dr. Pitts used stem cell for my hip and knee. It has improved both a great deal. I got back from vacation recently where I walked about 10 miles each day. I can walk 18 holes and ski for about 5 hours a day. Running is not in my future and my big question is will this last or is a knee replacement in my future. The team working with Dr. Pitts and he himself were all outstanding. I am planning to go back in for a follow up in the near future.

The procedure on my shoulder for a large torn labrum has kept me out of pain and out of surgery for over 2 years. I still can feel that something's not right in my shoulder, but it's not painful. I have full motion which is great. Doctor Paul Lieber at Regenerative and Performance Specialists in Pittsburgh has a horrible bedside manner but the rest of the staff was nice. Personally, I'd love to see an MRI of my shoulder to see the status of the repair. Conventional doctors tell me that it's not fixed but I have no proof to say "Look at this!" I think this MRI should be standard after 2-3 years.

Things went well with my stem cell procedure. I have no swelling in my knee any more and am able to play volleyball again. There is some discomfort when I overwork it but nothing like it was. Definitely worth doing.

This treatment totally improved my knee function. My pain was gone. I was told I need both knees replace. I am glad I went this route.

It's been about 10 months since my knee stem cell procedure and I have to say that the knee feels a lot better than the day I went in. Not quite a 100% but possibly 85-90%! I'm looking forward to my 1 yr. visit to see where I'm suppose to be at this point. The experience with Rejuv and Dr. Baumgartener has been life changing, as I was in a lot of pain. My knee was bone on bone and my whole body was experiencing inflammation! He put me on some supplements and all of my pains were gone!!! My knee still has some popping sounds when I move it up and down and still get some swelling by mid day. I have no pain when I'm not moving it, which I had constantly before the procedure! Now I feel some pain still when I walk, but not severe, like it was. Seems like the weather has something to do with the pain as some days are a lot better than others. It hasn't stopped me from doing my gardening and walking 30 min. on a daily basis, exercising and doing any of the daily chores around the house. I'm 4 months from my 65th birthday and I was not ready to have a knee replacement!!! I went on line to see what alternatives were out there for knee replacement and Regenexx popped up!! So glad I went with stem cell procedure and after my experience I'm very hopeful to see that this is going to be the way of the future for many types of problems. Looking forward for the insurance company's to get on board! 😊 It's been a miraculous experience so far and I'm going to do what I can to get close to 100%!!

I went anticipating stem cell, but was told the platelet replacement was recommended . I was prepared to have three treatments, but one was enough. I haven't had an issue since.
