Determined to Make This Work!
I'm excited to be trying to do this, and I've learned to give myself shots that barely hurt. And the meds came right on time. But I'm in my 5th week and don't feel like anything is happening...I'm down 3-4 pounds, to the weight I have been stuck at for years! I'm holding my breath to see if I can break that number by, oh, maybe Monday. (My shot day is Friday) I am excited to continue if this works, because honestly, my doctor and I have realized that for me, this is probably "the last resort".

Hello Julie, I'm very sorry to hear that you're not seeing the results you expected with semaglutide. It can be frustrating when a medication doesn't seem to work as intended. Here are a few things to consider: - Time and Dosage: Semaglutide often takes more than a month to show its full effects on weight loss. Your doctor may recommend increasing the dosage gradually, which could give better results. - Individual Response: Everyone responds differently to medications. For some, semaglutide might work more slowly or not be as effective overall. - Lifestyle Factors: While semaglutide can be a powerful tool, it works best in combination with healthy eating habits and regular exercise.
